Verbesserungswürdig: Sauberkeit und Zustand der Unterkunft
Definitely a budget hotel. It’s in a good area and very walkable, but don’t expect “nice”. Let’s start off with the elevator. That thing tried to kill me twice- the doors do not stay open long and a few times as I was trying to walk on with my luggage, it suddenly shut almost crushing my suitcase. Someone literally had to smash the “open” button for me.
The room itself is small, which I expected. I was hoping for a little cleaner to be honest. The bathroom smelled like urine and there was some black mold growing in the corners around the tub/ shower.
The fan in the shower didn’t work well and I could see how moldy/ dusty it was.
You get what you pay for. We spent most of our trip in Osaka sightseeing and being out of the hotel, so it really was just a place to crash. If we were planning on spending more time in the hotel, I wouldn’t stay here.
Staff were nice, but nothing to write home about. There were some amenities provided- ironing board, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, brush, razor. There was laundry on our floor, but it was not well kept- very dusty and dirty. We tried getting a load in because we were in despair, but after waiting 1hour for the dryer, our clothes were still wet. We opted to just hang them around our room vs wasting more time waiting.
