The Island had a good breeze, so the mosquitos were almost non-existent, and the trees are tall and plentiful for shade and a good resting place for a bald eagle one morning we were there. We rented the owners fishing boat and it was very nice for checking out the the different islands and bays. „This very clean and comfortable cabin is in a quiet, peaceful location. It had everything we needed and we had a wonderful week of vacation.There are several several fishing, boating and hiking options within a short drive. The International Wolf Center and North American Bear Centers are less than an hour away in Ely and there is another bear sanctuary a short drive from the cabin.We highly recommend it!“

„This is the 2nd time we rented Reggies Retreat and it is the perfect set up for our snowmobiling group. There is plenty of space to park trucks and trailers. The snowmobile trail is only a few blocks away and having access to the heated tuckunder garage for gear storage and getting geared up is priceless. With 6 people putting on and taking off boots, helmets, jackets etc its nice to have the space to spread out and keeps the snow and wetness in the garage. The host is super responsive when ...

„Overall loved the cabin and the experience! Luke was VERY responsive and we had everything we needed. The cabin was well equipped with beds & linens, supplies, games, kitchen utensils, an awesome gas grill and Traeger smoker, sauna and a private boat launch. Side note, the pictures were taken with a wide angle lens and they make the space look bigger than it actually is. However, the space is very comfortable and clean! Fun was had by all! We are already considering staying here again for skiing ...
