„While we didn't think this would be like a room at the Holiday Inn, we weren't prepared for the cute little room we got. The rooms are what used to be a RR station and have been upfitted with enough modern conveniences that you won't be disappointed - surprised, but not disappointed. Our room (and I assume the others are like this) was filled with gadgets, devices, and appliances that were vintage for the time the RR was operating and stopped there (think early 1900's). „We had a short visit but we really enjoyed it. Beautiful property and views. Walking the grounds and seeing all the flowers and wildlife were very enjoyable. I am sore from a knee injury, so the stairs and hills were a challenge for me. The people next to us were a little loud at times, but luckily we they were quiet at night. I missed having some salt and pepper in the kitchen and the upstairs tv had a very low volume setting and didn’t respond while I tried to change it with the remote. Other ...
