„The home was very clean. We had everything we needed for a weekend away. The owner answered us quickly when we had a question about the door lock. The stairs are quite steep but there is a handrail on both sides which is helpful for older people. There is a tv in the upstairs bedroom which wasn’t mentioned and a cozy chair. „Great corner location! View the Lansing Lugnuts Stadium from one balcony and the State Capital Building from the other balcony! Seeing the Capital Building illuminated at night was a bonus! It’s close to the Lansing River Trail, LCC (pretty garden/koi pond), and just a mile walk to Old Town. There’s a great restaurant (Sidecar) on the first floor and a Meijer Marketplace a block or so away. The kitchen is huge and equipped with everything you need. If you’re going to downtown stay here!“

„My new in-law family stayed here to be in town for our wedding. They enjoyed the house and the property. Wonderful kitchen! We really loved the outdoor spaces! The pets were happy as well. While we didn't realize the two upstairs rooms would have little privacy from each other, the situation worked for our group. We will use this home again in future for family get-togethers.“

„Shelly’s Chalet was the perfect stay for our large group. It truly came with everything in mind, not to mention clean and just so beautiful! Inside AND out. We didn’t even get to use the lake due to chilly weather and I’m still that excited about this place! Shelly was amazing at getting back to us in a timely and friendly manner.
