Tolles Haus & hammer Umgebung
Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem sehr sauberen Haus. Die Gastgeberin steht jederzeit für Fragen & Hilfe zur Verfügung und ist äußerst freundlich. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Gata ist ein wunderschönes, ruhiges Dorf. Die Umgebung von Omis ist wirklich der Hammer und bietet sehr viele Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Wir hatten einen wirklich guten Urlaub als Gäste von Ivana.

Just perfect!

Wir haben eine wunderbare Zeit im Green Paradise verbracht. Der Name ist Programm und Ivana eine Seele von Mensch. Wenn man ruhig und in der Natur wohnen möchte und die sieben Kilometer zum Meer nicht scheut, ist das Green Paradise ideal für einen Urlaub mit Familie oder Freunden.

Das Haus war das schönste das wir bis jetzt in Kroatien hatten, für diesen Preis. Unglaublich nette Vermieterin, hat sich um alles sehr gut gekümmert, und war sehr aufgeschlossen und freundlich. Immer wieder gerne.
Sehr nette Vermieter, immer hilfsbereit. Meine zwei Kinder habe viel Spaß gehabt genauso meine Frau und Ich. Die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig. Der Pool wird täglich von den Vermieter gereinigt 👍. Der Spielplatz mit dem Fussbalplatz lässt jedes Kinderherz höher steigen. Im kurzen zusagen immer wieder. 👍👍👍👍

Super schönes Haus
Wir haben 1 Woche dort mit 3 Kindern verbracht. Es hat uns super gefallen. Man ist für sich allein und hat seine absolute Ruhe und ist aber auch in 10 Minuten mit dem Auto am Strand. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist 5 Minuten entfernt. Das Haus war sehr sauber die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Mit Pool, Billiard, Fitness, Spielplatz und Fussball hatten wir eine tolle Abwechslung. Die Vermieter sind super nett und sehr gastfreundlich. Das Haus kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Holiday in Croatia
There is so much trust involved in choosing a home for you holiday. We are guided by photographs and reviews and we are all concerned about the truth on the day of your arrival. Does it reach your expectations? Before we arrived our host Ivana was in regular contact, assuring us of those little details and making it more personal. The house is located in breath taking scenery, nestled in the hills in a quiet, serene village. The sound of goat bells and the chatter of Donkeys as they roamed mischievously into gardens. It was delightful. The house is so clean, fresh and well equipped, accommodating on one level with 2 large double rooms and a twin room with lovely furniture and opening balconies. The lounge, diner and kitchen make a lovely family space and the balcony is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee. Downstairs there is a large pool table, gym and sauna and a shower / toilet. Outside the pool area is fantastic, with plenty of furniture and a summer house which is a lovely place to enjoy your meals alfresco on the grill. A fridge, freezer, sink, small hob and dishwasher just makes the space so easy to enjoy. The tennis court was a lovely addition that we enjoyed more that we thought. The house is amazing, Ivana and her family were so welcoming and even brought us lunch over one day. The location is about 25 mins from split, there are two supermarkets nearby, both with the essentials. Fantastic house, perfect host, highly recommend. Thank you so much.

Beautiful house, great hosts
This was our first visit to Croatia and it didn't disappoint. The weather was amazing and it was so peaceful in Gata and just what we wanted for a family break away. Our youngest really enjoyed seeing the donkeys and goats and the pool, summer house and pool table were very well used by the whole family and we had a couple of meals in the local restaurants which were both wonderful. Also great WiFi and air conditioning were very welcome. Ivana and Tony were so helpful and were always quick to respond as well as providing us with some local produce, homemade cake and wine which was fabulous. Thank you so much.

Great vacation villa
We had an amazing 2 weeks at this property. Ivana was the best hostess we have had in our many years of renting villas! We were spoiled with an amazing home-made dinner with home-made wine as well as occasional treats such as fresh strawberries and dessert. She also took great care of the property like cleaning the pool every morning before we were up. Additionally, any questions we had were almost immediately answered. Truly 5+ star service! The villa was the perfect size for our family of 4. Very well furnished and comfortable with air conditioning in each of the rooms which worked perfectly during our trip of 40C weather. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony overlooking the village and spotting the occasional passing of goats and donkeys. We enjoyed dinners in the outside kitchen where we could BBQ over a wood fire with all the amenities of a full kitchen like fridge and sink. Nearby, we walked to a local Taverna and enjoyed great traditional food. We also had 2 other close restaurants where we decided on takeout and enjoyed. Nearby is the city of Omiš where swimming is a must in the clear blue waters. It is a nice city to walk around in and also for starting tours. We took a boat tour of the islands from here as well as a bus + boat tour to Krka national park. We highly recommend. Special thanks again to Ivana for an unforgettable vacation.

Very Highly Recommended
We had an absolutely fantastic time at this property. Ivana was the perfect host. The cake and wine that she brought us was amazing. The villa is very well equipped and extremely clean and well maintained. The pool was cleaned and the cover pulled back for us every morning before we got up. Gata is a small but pretty village and the local Taverna serves great food and has a traditional ambience. You do need a car to explore the area, although you may be able to get a taxi to Omiš which has some nice restaurants and the starting point of many activities and excursions. We will definitely be coming back - Thank you so much Ivana.

Great Villa in a peaceful area
We spent a really nice week at this nice villa. Ivana was really nice hostess and even brought fresh pan cakes one morning. Our teenagers were really happy about pool table at the carage. The area is nice and peaceful with wonderful views to the mountains. Gata is great area to make day trips to Split, Makarska and even Dubrovnik. You definately need a car here. I recommend this villa and area to everybody who likes to spend holiday without other tourists.

Rural gem
Spent most of the time around the pool and the poolside kitchen. Omis is a short drive away down a mountain road if you want action and activity. We enjoyed river rafting and a boat trip to the islands. But we loved being up in a mountain village, local restaurant was great. House is perfect. We couldn't fault it. Ivana is lovely.

A great villa and host in Gata
I recommend this villa to everyone who is looking for a holiday in a private and peaceful location with stunning views. The villa is as described, with a great pool area and a kitchen next to the pool. The host Ivana was very helpful and flexible, making the stay easy and comfortable. Ivana even offered to drive us to the supermarket, as we did not have a car. This location is also very doable without a rental car, you can get a taxi there when you need it.

A fantastic villa and host
We initially booked this villa for summer 2020 and postponed twice due to COVID. Each time Ivana was very understanding and helpful and gave us no pressure to travel or cancel. We are glad we waited as it was great to travel and enjoy ourselves fully with no restrictions. The villa is well sized for a family of 4. All the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning quick and most needed in this weather. There is a full sized pool table on the ground floor too which is not in the photos and was a nice surprise. The pool is all one level and was a perfect size for games of volleyball. There is always shade around the pool for sunbeds too. Unfortunately it was too hot for us to make much use of the games court. The location is away from the main road meaning it is good for star gazing on clear nights (every night for us). There is a very nice restaurant about 5 minute walk and the supermarket is a 10 minute walk or quick drive. Ivana is a great host and always contactable and quick to help if needed. Overall we had a great (long awaited) holiday.

It is clearly written that Omis and beaches are 6km or around 10minutes away and that is correct information. Relaxing holiday in this perfect villa
We enjoyed the high heat in Croation. Fortunately the temperature inside the villa was very comfortable. The villa is quite new, in a very good condition and very clean. The young men (age 15 and 18) in our family enjoyed the pool table in garage and the outside play area (like small tennis court). The pool was also very nice. Gata is a small village and within walking distance there is a small grocery store and two restaurants. For other services there was a drive of about 15 min to Omis. Ivana, the owner of the villa, was very friendly and helpful. Thank you once again!

Great property in a peaceful location
We had a fantastic holiday in peaceful Gata. The villa is really well equipped throughout. Comfortable beds, quality showers, plentiful hot water and good WiFi. The pool, Astro court and outdoor kitchen were a big hit with us too. We really couldn’t fault this place. There is plenty to do nearby as well. We had a couple of excellent meals at the local restaurant (3 min walk). From Omis we had a boat trip to Brac. We also visited Krka national park which was just over an hour’s drive away. Ivana is a friendly, responsive and helpful host but leaves you plenty of privacy to enjoy your holiday. We really appreciated the cake she baked for us with the cherries from the tree in the garden. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great time in Gata
We were a group of 6 People, and spent one week in the green paradise villa. Everything was perfect here and Ivana has been really kind accessible and accomodating. To us the only problem was the fact that a car was necessary to join Omis and for every activity we planned. However we managed to find taxis or uber quiet easily. Thank you for everything Ivana!!

La villa correspondait parfaitement à la description. L’accueil très sympathique, propriétaire très disponible sans jamais être intrusive. tout est fait pour que votre séjour soit inoubliable (piscine , terrain de sport (mini tennis, foot, volley), billard, salle de fitness (tapis de course, banc de musculation,..) sauna . Great, socially distant stay in Gata
What a great place to stay and what a warm welcome from the owner. In the current climate, we wanted a location away from crowds and we found it. Lovely house, plenty of room but with a shop and a restaurant close by if needed. The local super market and restaurant are in walking distance, a cafe selling pizza 3-5 min drive, Omiš 15 mins drive down the valley. House was clean and tidy, had everything we needed. We all loved our week here and would recommend it.

Best guest house we ever had!
Accommodation in this property exceeded our expectations. The description property was more accurate than presented online. Great location with mountain view, marvellous pool that was regularly cleared, house fully equipped including great gym area, sauna, tennis court and snooker table. Patio area was great for evening chillout. We were positively surprised by hospitality of owners whom served us a sample of local cuisine for one of my meals. Owners were very friendly and easy-going. We fully recommend this property for a big family or friends going for a holiday in Croatia. Relaxing and peaceful
We wanted somewhere to relax and get away from it all and this was it. A home from home. Exceptionally clean. Very comfortable. Ivana, Tony and Tamara were all very friendly as were all the Croatian people. Ivana made us pancakes one evening which was a lovely treat. Within walking distance of the local shop where you can purchase most things needed but a larger supermarket can be found in Omis just a 10minute drive away. There was just the two of us for our stay but other family joined us on one day and the property came alive with a bigger party. All in all an enjoyable stay. Thanks Ivana for everything

A real gem in a quiet setting
Ivana and Tony’s property is in the village of Gata which is a 10 minute drive from the town of Omis and its various tourist attractions. For a family of 7 this property was ideal; it was quiet (we enjoyed seeing the herd of goats being shepherded up the road each night) and there was plenty of room for us. The pool, pool table and gym were really useful and fun, and there was air con in every bedroom (which was appreciated!). Beds were comfortable and the whole place was super clean. Ivana and Tony made us feel so welcome and they very generously brought us a local dish called ‘soparnik’ which we all devoured happily. This property is an ideal base from which to explore Omis and surrounding area. Omis is crowded with visitors in July/August so the peace and quiet of Gata was perfect. We had a fantastic holiday, it was everything we hoped for. The accommodation was spotless with plenty of room for everyone. The children especially loved the football court and pool. Fantastic villa with great facilities
We had a wonderful stay at this superb property in the mountains above Omis. The villa was spotlessly clean, modern and tasefully furnished with air conditioning in all the main rooms. Our two children enjoyed playing football, tennis and having fun in the play park and swimming pool. Ivana and family were extremely friendly and welcoming. We had such a lovely stay here. The villa is even more beautiful than in the pictures. Ideal location. And everyone was so kind and helpful. Highly recommended

Maison avec des excellentes prestations
Les hôtes sont extrêmement prévenants et habitent à côté de la location. La maison est très agréable , avec un équipement exceptionnel. La propriétaire nous a prépare un excellent repas typique Croatie. Nous recommandons cette location sans hésitation

Just as described
Myself snd my family had a lovely weeks holiday. The villa was beautiful and had everything that we needed and more. The location is just a few minutes drive from Omis with lots of shops and restaurants. The meal prepared by the owners was delicious and enjoyed by the whole family.

Très agréable séjour à Gata
Notre séjour en Croatie a été très agréable grâce à la propriétaire Ivana qui est charmante et qui a même pensé à nous donner de quoi nous nourrir le jour de notre arrivée. De plus, la maison est très bien équipée avec notamment un terrain de sport pour les enfants, une salle de sport, un billard et un sauna pour les plus grands. Tout était parfait et fonctionnait très bien. Nous recommandons vivement cette location et remercions encore Ivana pour son accueil et sa gentillesse.

Lovely large villa with a great outside area and very nice helpful owners,
Everything was as per advertised, spacious outside and in. Very clean and the owners are lovely. The pool is heated and we spent most of our mornings relaxing in this area. The summer house has a BBQ in, which we used several times. The villa although in a small village, is near to the main road to Omis or Split. We were able to taxi into omis in the evening to visit restaurants and shops. Beaches are accessible along the coast road where swimming in the clear sea water is a real treat. This area is beautiful and we recommend it very much.

Great location, and the hosts have thought of everything!
This was a true home from home (but tidier!!). Ivana has thought of everything, everything is clean and in perfect working order, and very comfortable. She is a lovely and generous host! We loved having breakfast on the balcony and dinner in the summer kitchen. The pool was even cleaned every morning before we got up. Our son and his friend absolutely loved the gym and the pool table as well as the swimming pool. The road down to Omis is just stunning - I couldn’t get over what a dramatic coastline this is, and the villa is just a 10-minute drive away from the coast. Omis is great though very busy - it was nice to have it on our doorstep yet to be able to escape.

Ruth and her family were excellent guests. Very respectful, tidy and easy to communicate. We would really like to host them anytime in the future and can recommend them to all other hosts.
