„There was no reception and no wifi available despite what the listing says. We had to book another place as I needed to check into work. Owner was very dismissive of the problem Also he sent us the wrong pin so sent us on a 30 minute round trip. Spider webs and hair were in the shower/bedroom and there’s no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Couldn’t open the window as so many spiders just outside the window “

There should be more specific info about each accommodation in the welcome pack and options to contact the owner directly given this was the weekend and the office was closed. “

„We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and very peaceful. We were unable to find an outdoor light to be able to use the pizza at night so we just cooked inside. We loved the electric blankets and the fireplace, although it took a while to get it started as the wood inside was still damp. The gardens were immaculate and we loved the swing set. Definitely a great place for a friends weekend away.“

"We stayed at Discovery Parks - Gerroa and overall had a comfortable stay. One thing that felt a little unusual as tourists was being placed very close to the permanent residents in the park, which made the atmosphere feel less like a holiday campground at times. The cabin itself was well equipped and we appreciated small touches like the bathtub and the body lotion provided. The staff were also very helpful — we had an issue with a broken door and it was fixed very quickly after we reported it. The view over the lake was pleasant, although not particularly spectacular. A big plus was having two separate air conditioning units, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, which made the stay much more comfortable. We did not end up using the camping facilities, so cannot comment on those, but overall it was a good and practical stay."
