„Das Haus in Connell liegt sehr zentral für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Das Haus liegt ruhig, in direkte Nähe liegt ein schönes Pub und Restaurant. Die Zimmer sind schön, die Küche gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.“

„It's a wonderful cottage if you are looking for a place away from the hustle of your everday life. Quiet, well equipped and yet only a 15 minute drive away from Oban. We especially enjoyed walking directly from the house along the coast on a somewhat hidden path (not easy, but doable). One tiny suggestion though to the owner: Given the price during the main season I wouldn't ask for an extra charge for firewood.“

„Fantastic place. Would highly recommend staying here. Cosy, clean and all the facilities you need. So if want to cook Dave and Co. have put a lot of thought into making it a home from home. Everything you need is there. If cooking is not for you there's always the microwave! Or you could visit the island's Gealic Heritage centre. Great food. We walked to it.... superb walk taking in the flora and fauna. So peaceful. Good that there is good WiFi... Unfortunately we all seem to want to be ...

„lovely location, some of the kitchen items could have been of a better quality but did not deflect from the stay.The weather was not kind to us so unable to take full advantage of the walks around the area but enjoyed watching the wild life while in the dry and warmth.Correspondence was excellent right up to the day we arrived.“

„This is a marvelously idyllic location with sheep in the hills and birds soaring about. The peace and quiet were much appreciated, yet it was only a quick 10-minute drive into the heart of Oban. It was an excellent base of operations for exploring the nearby islands, and I would love to go back and just stay as a sort of retreat.“

„Amazing cottage in a stunning island setting! Views are spectacular. Cottage is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and well equipped, including a very nice library of books and videos. A true vacation "get away", as no automobiles are permitted on the island. Very low key. We especially enjoyed hiking around the island and relaxing on the property. The ferry runs precisely on schedule and is a quick 3 minute ride to the neighboring island and car park. The owner provided explicit instructions ...

"Super Unterkunft in der Nähe der Connel Bridge. Tolle Zimmer mit Blick auf die Bucht. Nachteil, hier man hört die Straße. Balkon vorhanden. Gibt auch Zimmer nach hinten raus. Sind ruhiger . Großes Bad mit Regenwalddusche. sehr sauber. Direkt daneben Lokal und Pub. Frühstück wird im Pub serviert. Büffet und auf Bestellung. Freundliches Personal. Abendessen sehr gut."
