„I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.“

„This cabin is perfect for a stay for a small family or couple. All necessary accommodations are available the environment was so cozy and clean. The host has good communication and was willing to accommodate our dog that recently got hurt right before our trip and our child whom we had to take our trip. The host even offered a Air mattress if needed. This is a highly recommended VRBO and I would definitely stay again at this location! “

„I just stayed for one night- visiting family. The family was friendly and also gave me space. My favorite thing was the pond, with many koi fish. My area included a bedroom , bathroom with sauna, and a rec room with a giant tv, treadmill, ping pong table and fooz ball table. The bed was very comfortable and the night was peaceful. I would visit again.“

„Great place to crash if you're visiting the river, 10 minutes from Oregon Creek Park, which is an awesome spot to hit with kids. Pretty sparse surroundings and it's deep in the woods, so it's remote and private. Space itself is set up for 2 people, if you bring more people (wouldn't recommend more than 2 adults, 2 kids) you should bring an air mattress and your own bedding. „Location is beautiful (the stars are amazing!) and the house is absolutely wonderful. It has everything you need and the vibe is very relaxing and welcoming. We made use of the projector for movie nights which was super fun. One heads up - the master bedroom does not have any curtains, so I recommend eye masks for sleeping! „We are usually a very active family but this trip we really enjoyed slowing it down and hanging around the house. They had a bunch of games, dvd, kids books. More than enough room and beds. It was hard to pick which rooms to stay in. Ha! Our family needed this and it was great get away. Town is not far and we feel in love with Nevada city. They had dog man books and my son was over the moon about that. Great stay highly recommended it. “

„We LOVED this home from the minute we arrived. The four of us agreed it was the nicest rental we had ever stayed in. It is in a quiet beautiful neighborhood - just a few blocks from Broad St - with its excellent restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed the deck and bbq and hanging out in a few spots - including a open living room in the back of the property for morning coffee. The home was clean, well stocked and spacious.
