„This house was a perfect layout for us travelling as a family of 4 and a friend. The house had everything we needed and 10 minute walk into town. We did have a hire car so only walked twice we ended up hiring scooters which was perfect 2mins into the main st. I love palm cove last year we stayed in a resort but was frustrated trying to get a chair at the pool. This house was amazing only ate in 2 nights so didn’t take full advantage but it was so nice to have down time around the entertaining ...

„Lovely property with a set up that was perfect for our extended family group. Older couple with daughter, son-in-law and 2 kids, 6 and 3. The kids loved to pool and were in it every day. The location is in a quiet, leafy area just south of the main streets of Port Douglas a short 8 mins. away by car. The photos of the site are exactly as depicted. Plenty of towels and pool towels all provided.“

„The property was excellent. It was well presented and well equipped however I would recommend two additions. One a clothes horse as it is difficult to get things dry on the line and two a step stool (just a small one) as when you are not very tall it is difficult to reach the clothes line etc. Other than those two items everything was great. „This house really exceeded all of my expectations. Our group included 5 adults and 3 kids (6, 4 and 2). The separate (yet attached) self contained unit was amazing for grand parents. The location is right next to the beach, close to a park for kids and a short drive into Port Douglas. You’d need a car to get to town. „The family of 10 was very comfortable in the property with lots of space and the right combination of beds and bathrooms . The pool was amazing and outdoor area was perfect . The kitchen is very well equipped with all the appliances we needed. Also , lots of fridge and freezer space and the washer and dryer were fantastic. Air conditioning worked really well and we highly recommend this property . We had cars and so the fact that we weren’t right in town or on the beach wasn’t a problem . ...

House is old and definitely needs some tlc but for its age it served its purpose. Could definitely suggest a second fridge even downstairs for beverages. „Staying at house Heliconia was one of the best family holidays we've had. The property is beautiful and well kept, our host was very accomodating, easy to get a hold of and everything.
