My husband and I just came home from a 10-night trip to Marival Emotions. Leading up to our trip, I was anxious reading poor reviews and once we arrived I was SO impressed by the property, quality of food, amenities, service, on-site activities and even surrounding restaurants. When you read poor reviews by others, you really need to consider what type of people nit-pick things apart.
Service: We had our 2-year-old with us so we didn't spend a ton of time getting to know the bar staff. However, we did meet some of the entertainment staff (Carlos and Michelle) and their team were amazing! So friendly, welcoming and approachable. They always recognized our daughter around the resort and it made all of our days. Bar and buffet services were great.
Specialty Restaurants: You can book every day at 8:30am. We did not have any issues getting into the restaurants, nor did we have to stand in long lines while booking. Food and service was amazing and a nice treat from the buffet. Buffet was really great! Of course, it's a buffet so some things were amazing and other dishes were okay. I've been to a few all-inclusive resorts and this resort had the best buffets comparable.
Room: We had a main floor 1 bedroom suite. It was perfect for our family. The beds are small, room is a little outdated, but honestly- it didn't matter.
The overall experience was amazing. We loved the kids shows, adult shows, ice cream every day, all of the resort' activities and events that took place.
