Good value for money

So glad my friend and I booked a room at Revado for a few nights in Norwich! It is so conveniently located just 5 minutes from the train station, with plenty of bus stops if you don't walk to city center. The room was spacious and clean, and there was a nice little treat tray when we arrived. Staff was so very, very nice. We had just one meal at the Namaste restaurant. I wish we could have had more! It was such an amazing meal! We could sometimes hear guests in other rooms being a little noisy, but sometimes that's just the way it is with older hotels. The area around the hotel doesn't have too much other food options, but plenty in the city. There's a lovely nature preserve (Lion Woods) about 10 minutes away is a break from the urban zone. I'd definitely stay at the Revado again!

Recently stayed here for one night on a small trip to celebrate my birthday in Norwich. Seeing as all we needed the hotel for was to sleep we thought this would be a good option as it is fairly priced. The hotel was fine, nothing fancy however in the middle of the night we were awoken by the loudest drain pipe noises as a result of the room upstairs turning their tap on (which of course they have every right to do) we were woken up at 3am, 5am and then 7-8, i barely got any sleep meaning I was completely exhausted for my birthday. There was no one to talk to at the reception about this but this was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had

Convenient for train station, but room disappointing. Mould in shower, stains on carpet, uncomfortable bed and no latch on window. In desperate need of renovation. On checking out no one was to be found. Rang bells, knocked on doors and shouted. All to no avail. Would pay a little more elsewhere in future for basic cleanliness and comfort.

A bit disappointing
A good sized double room which was clean and tidy. However it could best be described as a bit 'tired". There were stains on the carpet, and the top of the desk was held together with sellotape. In the bathroom there was a decent walk in shower, but the heated towel rail didn't work and the plug in the sink was detached and broken. Good quiet location only a five minute walk from the railway station. Didn't have the breakfast or use the attached Indian Restaurant so can't comment on these. Overall their description of the hotel as "Affordable Luxury" is not one I could agree with.

The hotel was lovely. We were given a lovely clean room (19). The staff were so friendly. The only down side was the mattress. My husband and I were left with incredibly painful backache. Revado Hotel not impressed
I got to the hotel and found out parking was an issue. You have to check your care every 2 hours to avoid a parking ticket. What I was disappointed most was the breakfast we paid for. Continental breakfast means toast, cereal, tea or coffee, and some jam or butter. I was expecting an English hot breakfast.

Amazing staff, super clean room with very comfy bed and only a 15 minute walk from the city centre. They don't have their own car park, but there is free parking on the street during the night and for 2 hours during the day. We arrived at 8.30pm and there unfortunately were no spaces. The manager was so kind and resolved this by giving up his own parking space and a parking permit which we massively appreciated. Not only did the hotel provide tea and coffee facilities in the room, but also fruit juice cartons and a delicious breakfast bar. We will definitely stay there again if we go back to Norwich.

The listing for this hotel is deceiving when I searched for hotels in the area I included parking this hotel has restricted on street parking so you can’t go out for the day and leave your vehicle there also asked me if I would like to upgrade for breakfast but didn’t say that the restaurant only caters for vegan/ vegetarian options.now for the actual stay the room was clean but there was signs of damp the furniture was held together with sellotape the bed was uncomfortable and noisy the pillows were wafer thin we were woken in the middle of the night to fellow guest in and out the room then using their bathroom and switching the sockets/switches on and off the next morning thought we would have a shower but alas there was no hot water so couldn’t spoke to reception upon check out but were not very interested or helpful will definitely not recommend or be returning

Noise at crossroad junction from late night traffic. But that is just unfortunate location problem. Auxiliary staff only available at checkout, when I reported back a problem. But she was helpful & noted down. Would have at least appreciated offer of a hand, when struggling upstairs with a heavy case. No feel of welcome on desk. No eye contact with one guy I greeted on evening desk, as he mumbled and stared at the phone/computer desk. Not good.

Ett mysigt litet hotell med familjär känsla och fräscha rum. Personalen var trevlig och tillmötesgående och maten på den indiska restaurangen var utmärkt. Hotellets wifi krånglade en del, vilket var ett bekymmer då vi saknade egen internetuppkoppling, men i stort var upplevelsen god.
