Unser zweiter Aufenthalt innerhalb von 2 Jahren
Die Zimmer sind seit unserem letzten Aufenthalt vor 2 Jahren renoviert worden! Der Eingangsbereich ist nun mit Laminat ausgelegt, das Zimmer leider aber wieder mit Teppichboden. Das Bad ist nicht renoviert worden, hätte man vielleicht gleich mitmachen sollen. Ist noch in Ordnung, aber insgesamt etwas klein mit Badewanne und Duschvorhang. Es gibt nun ein Schranksystem mit großen Ablagen und einer Kleiderstange mit exakt 8 Bügeln. Ein Bügelbrett eine Bügelpresse, Bügeleisen, Wasserkocher mit Tee und Kaffee. Das Bett ist bequem und man hat 4 verschiedene Kissen zur Auswahl. Leider nur eine Bettdecke für das Doppelbett! Das Frühstücksbuffet ist zum einen typisch britisch mit Speck, Bohnen und Eiern. Zum anderen aber auch mit Müsli, Joghurt, Wurst,Obst und Baguette für Festlandeuropäer sehr gut geeignet. Zusätzlich gibt es noch eine Pancakemaschine. Der Health Club des Hotels ist sehr schön. Er beinhaltet einen großen Pool mit Whirlpool, Sauna und Dampfbad, sowie einen großen Fitnessbereich mit Cardio- und Fitnessgeräten. Ein ausgebildeter Trainer ist ebenfalls vor Ort. Der große Hoteleigene Parkplatz ist kostenlos. Wir waren 4 Nächte in diesem Hotel und würden wieder dort übernachten!

Hotel ok. Service Gruselig...
Preis/Leistung mit Angebot durch Expedia war ok. Für den Normalpreis wäre das aber definitiv nicht der Fall. Die Lage des Hotels ist ruhig... dafür aber doch recht weit vom Zentrum entfernt. Kann man zwar zu Fuss machen - allerdings ca 5 km... Mit Taxi kostet es im Schnitt so etwa 7£. Zimmer sind sauber und ok für den Expedia Preis (50%). Frühstück kostet dann aber noch mal 10£ extra pro Person. Fitness ist ok. Sauna, Pool und Fitnessgeräte, die man sich allerdings mit "normalen" Besuchern des Fitnessclubs teilen muß.... es kann also voll werden... Das einzige wirklich größere Minus - und für mich leider auch das Wichtigste - ist die Inkompetenz und Unfreundlichkeit des Servicepersonals. Angefangen bei der Lobby bis hin zur Bar... Deshalb würde ich das Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen.

Hotelangestellte waren sehr nett und hilfreich! Die Zimmer waren standard und ok. Die Lage, außerhalb des Zentrums etwas einsam, der Parkplatz dafür aber komfortabel. Das Frühstück war lecker, Abendessen sollte man besser im 100 m entfernten Country Pub einnehmen. W-Lan sollte eigentlich mittlerweile Standard und inclusive sein - musste hier teuer hinzu gebucht werden.

Für 1 Übernachtung im Sommer geht es gerade
Zustand des Hotels und des Zimmers sehr mitgenommen. Trotz 14 Grad keine Heizmöglichkeit im Zimmer. Zwiebelmethode mit vielen Kleidungsstücken übereinander zum Schlafen nötig. Wer Mottenpulver und Essig mag, dem gefallen die Gerüche im Zimmer. Die verpflegung im Hotel ebenfalls Geschmackssache. Preise wie in D, Frühstück english, a la carte mangelhaft. Mein (rel teures) medium Steak wäre besser eine Schuhsohle geworden - kräftiges Nachwürzen hat wenigstens etwas Geschmack gebracht und in der Not frisst der Teufel Fliegen. Bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt werde ich garantiert ein anderes Hotel wählen.

We had a lovely stay in Norwich . The hotel was very welcoming and they had a great choice of food . Was impressed with the quality of food and friendliness of hotel staff .Amazing cooked breakfast 🍳 with a great range of different foods including continental breakfast range Lovely selection of Alpro yoghurts and cheeses.Only issue was there was no access to the jacuzzi having expected to be able to use all the leisure facilities . Where they gave a downstairs bedroom to change in with an underpowered shower also in the room too.

Check in was quick and efficient. Staff were friendly and helpful. We booked breakfast which was good quality, varied and well labelled. Made use of the gym which was fairly wrll equipped.

Great service, no soundproof
The swimming pool, jacuzzi, steamroom and sauna were great and easy to access. The changing rooms had adequate lockers and showers and a swimwear dryer. The staff were polite and helpful. I visited the bar late into the night and the staff were more than happy to stop whatever paperwork or jobs they were doing to prioritise me. The beds were comfy but the rooms are in need of soundproofing as twice I was woken by people moving things upstairs or people returning to their rooms next door.

The hotel has a nice swimming pool with a sauna, steam room and gym which both my wife and I enjoy. We used the hotel as a base to visit Norwich and although it is not quite walkable it is still a very short car or taxi drive. The hotel room in comfortable with all the usual amenities. Food and drink are available but we did not avail ourselves of these services. Nice place for a weekend stay.

Handy for shopping ,which are a few hundred meters away, also on a bus route to Norwich. Parking is free at this hotel It was very easy to check in ,the receptionist was very chatty, made us feel at ease. The only down point to make was the soundproofing from the floor above sounded like a herd of elephants.

Great stay as usual. Come here every 6 months with my sister. Staff are so nice and food is lovely. Back in April for another long weekend and can’t wait. Always take my little pooch and the staff love her. Thank you Holiday Inn

Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay
Very friendly staff, a big thank you to James and Mark and the other staff For their wonderful service in the restaurant. We used the pool several times and the changing rooms were spotless. Our room was clean and comfy. Highly recommended hotel
