„Packing up kid after four years of college. Stayed in Ashland many times the past years, first time anything was available here. Beautiful setup inches from Lake Superior. Great view, close to eats, good coffee in room, artesian well steps away. Best, coldest water you’ll ever taste!“

„Between our room (No 202) and the poolarea was one other guestroom. Nevertheless the very loud noise of the whirlpool didn't let us sleep. The whirlpool ran several times at night. It also seemed as if the staff was very annoyed by the guests. For instance: Breakfast until 10am meens for the Lady in the breakfast room untill 940. Twisting eyes were the answer of the guests "good morning". Friendliness is different in our opinion.“

From the water drainage to the wetland catch basins, nature walking paths, beaches, etc. fun and adventurous place to stay. “

„Renoviertes Motel direkt an der Marina. Es gibt am Strand Liegen und einen Feuerkorb. Viel zu bieten hat Washburn nicht. Wir haben es als Ausgangspunkt für den Besuch des Aposte Island National Lakeshore genutzt. Wir können es empfehlen. “

„Gorgeous hotel! Free parking was a bonus in a busy walkable area. The rooftop hot tub was clean and large. The restaurant is really good. My only comment would be that the room we were in didnt have an iron.“
