„The apparment was beauiful.very clean and had everything u needed and more.the locaton was perfect everything on your doorstep.snd car park straight across road will be back“

„Clean room good value“

„Room was tired and bed uncomfortable. Car park had no lighting which made it difficult to navigate in the dark.“

„Idea for a single person exploring the south-western Lake District.“

„Lovely quiet location on the edge of Cartmel with good road connections to the tourist areas of the Lakes. The place was spotless and well equipped but they really do only include bedding, towels and loo roll. Whatever else you need make sure you take it with you. It lacked hanging space for clothes in the bedroom and any place to put your cases. We were surprised it was a semi detached building, we could hear a lot of noise, especially doors closing in the attached unit. I would still recommend ...

„The host cancelled my booking the day before I was due to book in because I use a walking stick and the room was on the middle floor. When I made the booking there was no mention on the booking page about about difficulties I may have. The reason given was not enough room on the expedia page. I was also refused a refund, which I find very disappointing as it was the host who cancelled my booking, not myself. Very disappointed allround.“

„What a perfect place to stay. Room was large and comfortable. Emiko was a lovey host full of great suggestions on what to do locally. Breakfast was very tasty but the real added extra was the on site bar with what seemed like 100s of different whiskeys which Emiko was very knowledgable on and happy to help you find one to enjoy. We will be back. “

„I don’t think I’ve ever had an en-suite where the cold water in the sink came out warm and the water in the shower ran cold no matter which way you turned the tap.“

„Loved comfortable, warm lodge in ideal location “

„Excellent location for where we wanted to go and visit. Great views and excellent dog walking opportunities. Look forward to staying again in the future. Dogs enjoyed themselves too. Bed very comfortable, shower very good.“

„A lovely place to stay . The hot tub was amazing the water was lovely and hot . It was very clean , we had everything we needed . The farm dogs were lovely they come to greet us when we got there . The owners are very friendly . The location is stunning , it’s surrounded by fields and there are donkeys , cows nearby which made it really nice . Would highly recommend staying there . Thanks for making it a lovely stay for us .“

„Everything was ideal with this property and if you want to walk into Cartmel it’s also close enough to do so… it does seem a lot longer walking back from Cartmel however after you have sampled the excellent local ales 😬“
