In Rum Point können Sie die kristallklaren Untiefen schnorcheln, am Strand Surf & Turf essen und einen frisch gerührten Cocktail trinken (natürlich auf Rumbasis!)Charter ein Segelboot Ausflug, und vieles mehr. Dann kehren Sie zu Ihrer Unterkunft gut ausgestattete Stil zum Entspannen. Rum Sands ist Teil eines gemütliche 3-Hütte Komplex auf Sand Point Cove, und seine Küsten-elegante Interieur macht es abheben.

Ein abgeschirmten Veranda mit Blick auf die Bucht mit Sandstrand und seiner üppigen tropischen Garten, mit einem Lüfter wirbeln Decke die kühle Brise zu rühren. Zwei Adirondack Stühle direkt vor der Terrasse laden Sie ein, Platz zu nehmen, den Sonnenaufgang über der Bucht zu beobachten. Sie können die Gegend auch mit dem Doppelkajak erkunden, das Rum Sands seinen Gästen bietet, oder Sie können ein Fahrrad oder ein Boot mieten, um mehr Abenteuer zu erleben.

Rum Sands liegt in Cayman Kai.(Cayman Kai ist eine überwiegend Wohngegend, liegt an der ruhigen Nordk��ste von Grand Cayman.) Wir empfehlen ein Auto zu mieten, da Rum Sands ca. 45 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt ist.

Kochen in leicht an Rum Sands. Pick-up einige Lebensmittel im nahe gelegenen Laden (nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt) und machen gute Nutzung des ausgestattete Küche mit Küchengeräten aus Edelstahl, und der benachbarten Esstisch. We just spent a week in the villa. The manager was extremely helpful and courteous. We could not ask for a better location. The beach is literally across the street, and all towels, chairs, and beach entertainment were provided. The villa is in a very good condition, and the outdoor area is excellent. We especially enjoyed the outdoor hammock and kayak. Not having to worry about a parking space was definitely a plus.

Bio bay getaway

This VRBO is right on bioluminescence bay and across the street from the newly renovated Rum Point. Needless to say it is near the main attractions on this side of the island. Nice accommodations for couple or small family. They even have a kayak for you to take a stroll in the bay.

Stayed with my daughter, love Rum Point

We have stayed in this very unit in the past and came back specifically because of how much we enjoyed it. It's a short walk from the very underrated Rum Point Beach and there are some cool activities on this side of the island that are less busy than the more commercial Seven Mile Beach area.

A wonderful place to stay in Rum Point

Having never been to Grand Cayman or Rum Point before, we didn't quite know what we were looking for. This unit is one of the very few that has both bay frontage (on the bio bay - TOTALLY worth it) as well as ocean view from the front porch. You are literally looking at water on both sides. For the money, this place can't be beat. And the host was super helpful with answering questions about local restaurants and experiences. Highly recommend

Lovely cottage in the middle of paradise

Older home, but still in great condition and very comfy and clean. Screened in porch was a plus. Tons of outdoor sitting/relaxing space. Having a kayak was great to kayak the bioluminescence bay. Driving distance to Starfish Point which was an excellent beach to hang out for the day. Took cooler and chairs provided - thank you! Also walking distance to Rum Point bar and restaurant if you want time out. Would definitely stay again!

Awesome!

The apartment is great. The location is unbeatable. Would definitely come back. Check-in was a little difficult because I deleted the email with the instructions and had a hard time getting a hold of anyone who could help me. Once I got the instructions, it was easy. The air-conditioning took a long time to cool down the house, but once it was cooled down, it maintained just fine.

The location of this property is amazing! There is a beach across the street where the snorkeling was fantastic…. Sea turtles, sting ray… parrot fish! We walked every morning through the beautiful neighborhood! A car is a must!! We had a bit of a hiccup with the checkin but it was resolved and the manger was responsive and everything worked out in the end.

Magnificat!

I have been to the island twice and I chose to stay in this place because it's on bioluminescent bay. The apartment is spacious and well appointed; it had chairs, umbrella, cooler and towels for the beach and everything we needed for the apartment. I would highly recommend staying here if you're comfortable with a quieter way of life and don't want or need all the shops and restaurants. If you're a nerd like I am, the most special thing about this place is bioluminescent bay. Swimming in the bay is a magical experience. I know most people are afraid of the jelly fish (we did get stung but it is very mild) so if you're afraid I definitely recommend using the kayak. I do recommend renting a car while staying here. Will stay here again.

Beautifully appointed property

This cottage was even better than we expected. It was a bit hard to find the first time, but it was a great location. It was right across the street from the beach, and just steps away from the bioluminescent bay. The cottage was so charming! It had a fully stocked kitchen (cooking supplies, not food) and even had water bottles in the fridge. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There were plenty of towels, including beach towels. There was also bug spray and sunscreen! There were 2 enclosed porches, which was unexpected, plus sunchairs you can take to the beach, and a cooler. We were very comfortable and happy there. The only tough thing was that it is at least a 45 minute drive into George Town, more if there was traffic. Overall, we were very happy in this cottage. Thank you for a great experience!

Property Manager Jessica is very nice and helpful. Perfect for the two of us and has everything we need. Great location for a north shore get away, with Rum Point across the street, Bioluminescent Bay behind, and dinner at Kiabo on the Beach a five minute drive away. A little far from town, but that's what we like but everything you need is available a short distance away (not walking). Tukka Restaurant about 25 away, same with Ocean Frontiers Dive Shop. Property has been very clean both times, and outfitted thoughtfully. Rental process was very easy.

Great Location in Rum Point

Right on the end of bioluminescent bay with a very short walk to Rum Point Beach. Having access to a double kayak was great to explore the bay during the day and at night to see the water turn blue while you paddle around. The water in the bay is very shallow, about 4 ft deep. Did not see anyone swimming in it, but kayaking and paddle boarding and deep enough for boats and jet skis to go in and out. Lots of outdoor furniture to enjoy a lazy day near the water. Quiet neighborhood, not a lot of traffic in this area. Well equipped home. Would definitely stay there again. Good communication with the host. Great area to spend a few days. Had good experiences at both the Rum Point and Kaibo restaurants. Note that there are only 2 restaurants in the immediate area so reservations are recommended. A 3rd one is about a 10-15 minute drive. Overall, a nice place to stay and one of the best locations for that area.

Perfect beach getaway

A beach vacation ticks all the boxes for us if you can see the water, walk in the water without grass and there's a table for eating where you can see the water. This place ticks all the boxes. There's a screened in porch that has a beautiful view of a garden and water. When in the house, you can see the ocean out the front. While there is some sea grass that you have to navigate thru, there is a glorious sand bar that is shallow and is the perfect place to float and drink you floaty time drinks. On Sunday, the sand bar populates with boats and you can enjoy a big party. It was a lot of fun. Jennifer and Gerald are great hosts. There were always available to answer questions. Their friendly and caring attitude made the stay more like staying with family. We would love to return. Rum Point is one of our favorite beach locations. Rum Sands is a great place for a couple looking for a beach getaway!

Rum Sands

Second time renting in this complex of 3 units. Location suits us as we are very active swimming, snorkeling and paddling. Didn't use (or seek) bikes this trip Jennifer, our hostess, was most pleasant and responsive, especially when we had an issue with the initial kayak that came with the rental. Within a very short time there was a new boat delivered allowing us an extended trip out through the Bioluminescent Bay to North Sound and back. Being on the BL Bay is always one of the evening delights for us. Snorkeling the Rum Point drift from Cayman Kai beach is as spectacular as ever. If you are a confident swimmer getting out to the reef (about 900 feet offshore at CK beach and a bit further on the way back in to RP beach from the Coral gardens area) is easy enough, but we do recommend a visible float or flag as there are frequently boats in the area. Would highly recommend this place and very much looking forward to a return visit.

Perfect Location for Bio Bay Self Kayak and Rum Point Snorkeling and Sunsets

The location is absolutely perfect! Rum Point is the best. 1. Best Part. Access to Bio Bay with a kayak. Easy paddle on flat bay to see the bioilluminescence. Perfect location for free access to bio bay. 2. Directly across the street is public access to the ocean side of Rum Point for amazing snorkeling. Swim out to coral gardens or out to the barrier reef for some of the best snorkeling on the island. Also the beach has amazing sand for the best ohotos of the best sunsets on the whole island. 3. Starfish point is just around the corner. See the starfish for free. The Rum Point facilities across the street have a nice restaurant and access to boat trips for stingray samdbar, snorkeling, and other trips. Jet ski rentals. House was clean and pleasant. Grounds very well kept. Washer/dryer for wet clothes from all the snorkeling was great. Host Jennifer was helpful and responsive.
