The house is great with very comfortable beds, a nice TV and well equipped kitchen in a mostly quiet neighborhood. Minor issues become annoying because the cost is so high because of the much higher than average fees. „We loved the townhouse but it seemed better suited for our home state of Texas than Portland. While perfect for the warm weather we had it seems like it could be chilly and dim during a Portland winter. Lots of great restaurants and shops nearby, a gym for our 22 year and a parking spot for our car made it perfect for exploring the greater Portland area.“

„We picked up our son, daughter-in-law and grand-daughter from the airport shortly after midnight. Our daughter-in-law had extensive surgery in India and the trio had been in India for almost 4 months. The surgery was a success but she is still pretty frail, particularly after the long flight. The clean, quiet house, tub to soak in and nice soft beds were much appreciated. Also, we were new to online booking and our host graciously answered all our questions and helped us through the process.“

„The house was great for our family. It is an older developed neighborhood very close to downtown. We had tons of restaurants, the waterfront and grocery stores nearby. The neighbors were all nice and the houses all have good landscaping. It as a safe area. The house had three comfortable rooms and 2 bathrooms. There were two separate TV living rooms and my boys enjoyed having their own space downstairs.“

„The Fire house was such a fun, interesting and relaxing place to stay! Not only was the place full of character and charm, it was equally comfortable and welcoming. The place is much bigger than I anticipated when seeing it online. I was so impressed with the history and the decorations really help round out the story. „We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this oasis. Beautiful yard and gardens from the panoramic window view into the private backyard. After a day of hiking various trails, we often enjoyed our evening meal sitting on the patio. Completely updated kitchen with all amenities! Very comfortable king-size bed in a spacious bedroom. Great signage/instructions throughout (wifi, fireplace instructions, etc). If we are ever back in the Portland area, this is where we will be staying!“
