„The first night there was a constant banging sound outside the bedroom window like there was a wooden gate/door opening and shutting by the air conditioning units. And on the second night there was a small dog that had been left alone that was crying and barking for what seemed like all night. The floors are so thin you can hear the neighbors upstairs walking around.“

This second-floor unit has a full-length balcony and overlooks the courtyard swimming pool, not the beach, but the beach is literally a few steps away. We liked that the unit occupied the entire second (and top) floor of its building, so we had no neighbors on any side of us. Very quiet as a result, although you do hear the noise from the pool. But the pool closes in the evening, and we didn't ...
