„We had a very good time. Only issue was a power outage (not the owners fault), but only this property. We contacted NS Power ourselves. There were no flashlights/candles, or a way to contact the owner (no internet without power). An emergency phone number was not provided. We did meet a very helpful neighbor who loaned us flashlights & candles. The owner did bring flashlights the next morning and left us a gift card for the inconvenience.“

„We poked around Cape Breton using this place for home base. It is surrounded by a quiet meadow with spectacular views across the valley. In the mornings we woke to the distant sounds of farm animals. The walk down to the river is delightful. We will return. “

„From our initial booking months ago to reluctantly checking out today, our stay at this lovely vacation home has been exceptional. Communication with Michael has been so pleasant and attentive. The home has every convenience you might need and then some. Little details have been attended to. This might be the first place we’ve rented where the kitchen knives are actually sharp! Wonderful.
