„We always stay here when we come to Taos Ski Valley (at least 5x). I thinks it’s owned by locals, I see the owner and her pup every time we are there. There is a lot of care in the details of this place. We live the alpine suites. Thanks!“

„What I loved, the beds and shower I miss already! The Ponderosa is currently undergoing a transformation and our room was clean with all new furnishings and windows. Small kitchenette with full size refrigerator. We walked everywhere but Mike can rent you a golf cart at a very reasonable price if you need. Food choices were all within a six or seven minute walk for us. Very quiet at night with no disturbances. We definitely will return. Mike was attentive and easy to reach. “

„We had the best time at Edelweiss Lodge and Spa! We went to Taos Ski Valley to hike to Wheeler Peak. Helen took care of us the entire time, checking on us on our hike and setting up massages while we were hiking down the mountain. The only negative was there was no air conditioning so it was a little warm in our room. Helen did come through though by getting us a fan. Overall, it was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend Edelweiss!“

„Really enjoyed our stay! Enjoyed the park on site and the river that ran along the edge of it. Was in walking distance from restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again!“

„The breakfast was awesome! They cooked our eggs and the waffles were fantastic. Our room was clean and we had a view of the river. The only complaint I have is our niece and her family stopped by for a few minutes while we were out by the river and a guy came out very rude asking if we were guests of the hotel. He could have been polite about it. Will we stay here again…yes“

"Alles super! Das einzige was verbesserungsbedarf hat, ist das telefon am pool. Da war nie jemand zu erreichen, um Getränke oder essen zu bestellen. Der Valet war immer top! Danke!! "

"Zwar ist das Hotel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das konnten wir auch bereits den Abbildungen entnehmen. Besonders zu erwähnen ist allerdings das Personal. Auf dem Balkon gab es keine Bestuhlung/Tisch. Wir haben darum gebeten und innerhalb von wenigen Minuten standen Stühle und Tisch auf dem Balkon. Der besondere Charme liegt ohne Frage am indianischen Stil der Gestaltung."

"It is just an oldish place, that is trying to make ends meet. The breakfast is pretty random. During our stay of three nights the juice machine broke and fresh milk for coffee had to be substituted by packed containers. It's kind of family friendly though. Easy to access and staff that is really trying to make things work. Easy to get around. Reasonable roomsize. Pool is quite small. Cleanliness is just okay and house keeping was skipped one day with no option of rescheduling. All in all I wouldn't go again but at least we had a place to stay in order to explore beautifully Albuquerque and New Mexico!! "
