„This home and place is so special. We loved that every one in our family had a space for themselves to sleep and so many spaces to just sit and be quiet, to fish, to read and relax. Night time camp fires overlooking the water and watching the night sky. The kitchen was fully stocked so that we were able to grill and cook our favorites all day. „It was a lovely retreat on the lake for our family. Located between Huntsville and Birmingham gave us nice day-trip opportunities. There isn’t a dishwasher but paper plates were provided for the nights we didn’t want to do dishes.“

„On A Whim- was absolutely AMAZING! My daughter had the best birthday, we didn't want to leave!! The house was very clean and roomy with plenty of things to do, lots of games for kids and adults to enjoy! You're close to town for whatever you may need and you're right beside Smith Lake Park which has tons of events and fun stuff to do around the holidays, including firework shows and much more. „The cabin is just what we wanted. Very cute! New experience floating in the lake. We enjoyed a relaxing morning sipping coffee on the front porch. Coinvent to everywhere. The downtown area is fun place to walk and shop. Of course Wenzels is within walking distance which is a great plus!“
