We enjoyed parts of our stay, however our experience was impacted from the moment we arrived. We spent the first hour cleaning, as there were numerous dead and live insects and spiders throughout the house. Unfortunately, this continued during our stay, with spiders appearing in the curtains, on the trundle beds, and unexpectedly on the floor.Some cutlery had been put away dirty, and we also found a dirty plate in the drawer. While this may not be directly the host’s fault, it was still disappointing upon arrival.Additionally, the wine glass selection was quite limited, which was surprising given the house accommodates numerous adults.The house is also very bright. For families travelling with young children during daylight savings, we would recommend bringing temporary block-out blinds or similar, as the existing window coverings did not block out much light.Overall, the property has potential, but improvements to cleanliness and kitchen supplies would greatly enhance the experience for future guests.
