„Die Unterkunft an sich ist toll, direkt in der Kakaoplantage gelegen. Auch die Schokoladentour war super interessant und lehrreich. Einziges Manko: die Bungalows liegen nahe an der Straße und dort brettern die lauten LKWs vorbei. Ansonsten wäre es klasse gewesen, aber so kann man dort leider nur ruhig mit Ohrstöpseln schlafen. Das Personal ist super freundlich.“

„Hidden down a dirt road awaits a rural escape. This was a great place to stay, comfortable, private and surrounded by nature. The location is only a 15 minute drive to La Fortuna and a 5 minute walk to the grocery store. Our Host responses were prompt and we highly recommend.“

And the location is wonderful—it’s in the adorable mountainous town of Upala, right by Sensoria and La Catedral, both of which I highly recommend (but farther some of the other hiking trails).
