„We came to Chicago to celebrate my son’s birthday. The staff at this JW Marriott went above and beyond to make our stay special. I was able to arrange a special celebration cake to be sent to the room, plus they sent chocolate-covered strawberries (his favorite)! We booked a room with Executive Lounge access and it did not disappoint. My son was very satisfied with the breakfast - I wish I had stopped in to get myself a bagel. „Long road trip, stayed in several hotels.Most places have staff shortage but do their best. Not this place! Arrived late after 8 hrs drive, very tired. The room smelled like a Highschool gym with sour milk. Front desk solution: Lysol & instruction to bring it back. Could not reenter, key card problems. Back to front desk. Lysol helped a little, we slept with an open window (summer heat, an interstate nearby). Floor was so sticky in places slippers stuck, sofa & seat were very dirty. Fridge ...
