„Wunderschön gelegen mit Blick nach Kanada. Wir hatten eine schöne Terrasse. Die Zimmer sind geräumig jedoch nicht mehr die jüngsten aber sauber. Tolles altes Haupthaus. Wenn man ruhe sucht, ist man hier sicher Richtig um die schöne Natur zu erkunden. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich.“

„Für die Jahreszeit (Ende September) hatten wir sehr gutes Wetter mit Temperaturen von ca. 30 Grad. Dadurch konnten wir den wunderbaren Blick auf das Meer und Sonnenuntergänge genießen. Die Lage des Hotels ist dafür wirklich einzigartig. Und den Lobster des Inn on the Wharf sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen.“

„We enjoyed this oasis of quiet and stillness more than anticipated. Josh had very welcoming and it was easy to slip into a few days vacation at Bear Mountain Lodge. The rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. Escaping humidity and the mundane-ness of hotel stays was our goal, but we didn’t appreciate how the lodge helps you to stop and slow down. We used the kayaks, kitchen facilities and outdoor areas which were well maintained. Josh and Bianca were great hosts and we recommend a visit!“

„ Very calm you don’t hear the road. Roomy and confortable, the beds are good. I recomend also the breakfast at the gas station (Tom’s) and for dinner, the West Branch restaurant a few miles away“

„Charming decor, fresh, clean and comfortable. Nice kitchenette so we were able to cook our breakfasts and grill outside after our days out and about if we wanted on one of the convenient gas grills a very short walk from our front door. Nice fire pit and chairs for relaxing with a cocktail and maybe meet someone new if someone is around. Adjacent to a nice quiet road for a morning or evening walk if you like to do that. Short drive to the welcome center for Acadia too!“
