„Mein Mann und ich haben das Thikana als Standort für unseren Indienaufenthalt gewählt. Der letzte Besuch dauerte 8 Tage. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Liebevolle Betreuung durch die Besitzer Sheetal und Atul und das Personal. Sehr anregend waren die Gespräche morgens um den großen Frühstückstisch. Wir werden im kommenden Herbst auf jeden Fall wieder dort wohnen.“

„Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit bei Ajay! Er hat auf uns gewartet als wir mitten in der Nacht vom Flughafen ankamen, hat alle unsere Fragen beantwortet, uns Tipps gegeben, hatte immer ein offenes Ohr und bei Problemen sofort geholfen. Auch haben uns seine Mitarbeiter ein ‚normales‘ Frühstück gemacht, da uns das indische zu scharf war ;) Alles top, danke nochmals - fünf Sterne!!! “

„Colonel's Retreat isn't a fancy hotel with a pool. It's in a safe & quiet residential area and it has a "soul". The rooms are a good size, excellent shower and very comfy bed. The staff are lovely, they even when we had an early train offered a takeaway breakfast. They also organised all our pickups and drop offs very efficiently. „The place is a bit far from the main gaths and turistic atraction and a bit hard to reach (has to be by foot). The staff was nice and the AC worked well in the room which was really good, since the rest of the place was pretty warm. The bathroom was tiny and the shower was not separeted from the rest, which leads to the whole bathroom being wet after showering. The mattress was old and had a whole in the center. Breakfast was OK. If you are not searching for too much comfort, this place is good.“

„We stayed in this property for a few days in Delhi before returning to the US. Great, easy, safe location. The home and the people were great for what we wanted which was a comfy, safe place to put our stuff and sleep in between sightseeing. The people and communications were great. Even included a nice traditional Indian bfast. Definitely enjoyed our stay and would stay again when in Delhi next.“

„Have stayed at this property for many years and perhaps the only reason that I stay (aside from it being of high quality) is that the hotel is one block walking distance from where I need to be while in Gurgaon. If you are simply looking for a fantastic clean and quiet place to stay, this is top notch. It does have its downfalls however; Taxi drivers cannot find location! Don't even try at night. Driver absolutely must call property, most often more than once, while enroute for instructions. ...
