We arrived in Aruba and still did not have check-in info. The host wouldn't respond to chats. VRBO contacted him and said he answered the phone and gave his number to call but he would not answer. VRBO has policies that require them to attempt tomcontact the host repeatedly but we're not able to. Ultimately, after 3 hours, our VRBO emergency specialist was able to get us a place to stay for 2 nights then instructions for following nights. VRBO was spectacular and helpful! This host was dishonest and refused to help after stranding us in a foreign country. Do not rent from this host! He should absolutely be delisted and barred from offering properties on VRBO. To leave someone stranded in a foreign country on Christmas Eve with almost 100% hotel occupancy is inexcusable and horrible. This host should be ashamed.
