„I stayed at the bunkhouse for two nights when taking part in running events in Dumfries & Galloway. I chose it primarily on cost. It’s great value for a solo traveller and having a kitchen is a bonus. However, the bunk bed wasn’t very comfortable - very soft mattress and I could feel the springs - so I didn’t sleep particularly well. “

„Ich hatte ein einfaches Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsnutzung der Sanitäranlagen. Alles sehr einfach, aber funktionell. Heizung ging nur mit vom Gast nicht selbst steuerbaren Zeituhr. Mir war es nachts zu kalt, da das Wetter sehr schlecht war. Der Service in der Bar / Restaurant ist prima, guter Landgasthof.“

„What a little gem this farmhouse was. Beautiful home, spacious and located in a quiet location close to the sea. Stunning views of the sea and landscape, and great to watch the sunset in the hot tub . We loved it and was sad to leave, thank you for our wonderful stay “

Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back!“
