The River Gannel is ideal for stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking or a peaceful evening walk. For the walkers amongst you, Cubert Common is a short walk from the 18th century listed thatched cottage. Pick up the stunning South West Coastal Path which offers miles of some of the best views in the country. You’ll be 5 miles from the pretty beach at Perranporth (the only bar on the beach in Cornwall) and Newquay has endless beaches, restaurants and shops to explore. There are so many beautiful places nearby for a fabulous day out!

From the stunning exterior and front porch, step inside the welcoming entrance into the cosy open-plan lounge/diner with window seats, exposed beams and stunning character throughout. The beautiful hand-built kitchen has everything you need and is fully equipped to create a family meal whilst playing your favourite songs on the wireless speaker. You can admire the view of the owner's chickens and ducks wandering through the garden behind. The lounge area has a very comfortable sofa so cosy up and watch your favourite show on the Smart TV. The stunning ground floor bathroom has a separate shower and bath to unwind after a long day exploring the various walks nearby and underfloor heating for that luxurious feel. Heading upstairs - don't forget to duck! The wonderfully cosy double bedroom with dual aspect windows is incredibly spacious and beautifully styled. There's also a stylish twin bedroom overlooking the front garden – listen out for the clip-clop of the horse's hooves coming down the lane. Outside, there is an small enclosed cottage style courtyard garden with shrubs and plants in the borders, furnished with table and chairs so you can dine alfresco. The private garden is perfect for relaxing, enjoying the evening sun and is fully enclosed so ideal for dogs. There is the added feature of an outside tap and hanging rail for rinsing/drying wetsuits after spending time in the surf. At the rear of the property near to the parking area is a lovely wild meadow where children and dogs can enjoy playing and letting off steam. This is a pretty spot where lots of visiting birds can be spotted.
