„We absolutely loved our stay at the Highland Cottage. The check in process could not have been easier, we were greeted to such a clean space with homemade cookies waiting for us. The cottage does so much with the space, it felt so comfortable! It was incredibly well stocked with a full spice rack, pots, pans, butter, extra bedding, games. Everything you could want and more. „Perfect home for a couple of friends, maybe 3, to explore the Lake Placid area. Only 20-30 minutes from great hikes, Whiteface, John Brown Farm, Mt. Van Hoevenberg, Lake Saranac. A short walk to ice cream, pizza, and just a little farther to downtown LP. Host was very responsive and home is sufficiently equipped. My friend and I had a very nice stay.“

„Moreno's Cottages are a pleasant series of little cabins between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. My brother and I stayed in #7. There were two twin beds, a nook and a small, separate kitchen area. It was rustic, but modern enough to feel like you had a place to relax after a hike. We did have some problems getting in, but Todd was super accommodating and had backup codes for us to use. „We decided last minute to take a mini vacation hiking near Lake Placid. GO Cottage was a perfect lodging choice for us. It was comfortable, clean quiet, and stocked with everything we could need. We spent most of our time hiking and visiting downtown . We couldn’t have asked for a more convenient and comfortable place to return to. We did cook dinner two nights and found the kitchen had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here when we come again. “

"Das Cambria Hotel war das schönste auf unserer 4-wöchigen Reise durch die Neu-Englandstaaten. Das lag vor allem an den herzlichen Mitarbeitern (vom Hotel-Manager David angefangen) über die Leute an der Rezeption und im Restaurant. Zudem hat das Hotel einige Annehmlichkeiten, die deutlich über dem Durchschnitt liegen. (Laundry, Innenpool, Restaurant-Terrasse mit schönen Möbeln, Kajaks und Tretboote zum Ausleihen und einer schönen Aussenanlage am See mit Feuerstellen) Wir haben uns in dem schönen, recht großzügigen Zimmer mit Pantry, mit Ausblick auf die Berge und dem tollem Badezimmer sehr wohl gefühlt. Von uns gibt es eine Empfehlung für Lake Placid für dieses Hotel."
