Jugendherberge?
Unser Zimmer war wie abgebildet klein aber okay. Das Publikum ist gemischt von jung bis alt. Ein WC pro Geschlecht. 2 Männerduschen. 1 Frauendusche. Männer WC war benutzbar. Im Frauen WC war die WC Brille nur aufgelegt. Haare im Waschbecken bei den Frauen. Die Küche haben wir lieber nicht benutzt man hätte erstmal abwaschen müssen. Check In war sehr gut. Zugang zum Haus und den Zimmern über PIN die per E-Mail kommt. Habe Fotos vom Bad gemacht. Lassen sich aber nicht uploaden vom Handy.

Worst accommodation I’ve ever seen absolutely disgusting couldn’t pay me to stay there again full of junkies smelt like mould and urine cigarette butts all over the floors including the shower toilets look like they have never been cleaned horrible place to be

This place is disgusting, stay away. Entire place smells like urine and junkies all around the area. My room was filthy with blood stains on the ground and tv didn’t work, this place is lucky they have no onsite reception and hide behind the phone, I’ll be doing my best to get a refund

The room had damage on the walls. There was no toilet paper the time I was there. The walls are very thin and you can hear people talking/ snoring next to your room.

Loved the no Reception. Every thing was very Clean. Toilets and showers were newly renovated. Good for 2 people Stays. Buses were almost at the front door and short trip into Newcastle

Hello, I booked this place thinking it was some kind of serviced apartment, with a 40sqm room as advertised, When I arrived I had been fooled, it was PUB with a small cheap room that I measured to be 23sqm, and none of the extra stuff in the photos was included, furthermore the DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING uses this place to house on a temp basis, so the other people who were staying and always wandering around were ICE JUNKIES, yes no joke directly outside my room instead of having a window and view I had a window that viewed onto a communal loungue room where a man sat and talked rubbish all night while smoking an ice pipe, Hotel refused refund but wotif.com sorted it out for me and I moved on, BEWARE

Not a good experience.
Overall it was way too noisy. Located on the curve of Maitland Rd, there was traffic noise all night. The building is old, and the floor creaks badly when anybody walks on the stairs or along the hallways. The glass panel above the room door let hallway light in. The venetian blinds didn't close enough to exclude street lights. The TV antanea cord was too short to reach from the wall socket to the set. The TV was mounted on the wall above the head of the bed. How do you watch that ? The air conditioner louvers were stuck in the downward position, so you got blasted directly with cold air. I've saved the worst until last ............. There must have been something pretty horrible making the room smell (maybe vomit ?) because the smell of room deodorant was so totally overpowering that I had a monumental headache next morning. I had booked for 2 nights, but couldn't face a second night in there, so I drove home instead.

The air conditioning was absolutely disgusting and needs to be clean as it has black scum all in the van blades... window blind had BLOOD on it.. found things from previous people who stayed under the bed while pulling the blankets back... chair in the room was disgusting had dirty hand marks and split drinks down it... over all was extremely disappointed with the cleaniess

Cockroaches.
Cockroaches everywhere. I booked same-day but there is no reception and I had to call in, they didn't have my reservation and said they didn't use Hotels.com. Was frustrating to get checked in. My room itself was pretty good, but the rest of the place was fairly disgusting with multiple (and some large) cockroaches just roaming around, on top of everything throughout the kitchen.

Rooms are great once you get to them
After parking and walking through towards the rooms, I was scared that I'd made a bad decision. The space was filthy and not maintained at all. However, as soon as we found the door through to the kitchen/bathroom/rooms, everything was great. Feels like two completely different spaces.

We enjoyed our stay. Although shared amenities they were very clean. Was very quiet. Room had all we needed for our stay. Close to relatives and very reasonable price.

It is a self service motel. You use the public washroom and bathroom. However, it is clean. I chased several times about Wi-Fi password but no response in email. It is unlucky that I cannot use Wi-Fi during stay. You can never see any helper there as it is self service. Overall, it is economical motel.
