„The cabin was ready for an early check in if we wanted. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and we loved the beautifulcrafted table. The screened in room was very nice. The beds were comfortable. The house, deck, and dock areas were all nice. We would recommend staying if coming to the area. We visited Tahquamenon Falls, Oswalds Bear Ranch and Benny the Beard Fisher Troll while in the area.“

„This was our 2nd stay at the cabin (also in 2023) and everything was as expected. The only change was bringing your own bedding and also cleaning up at then end for the next party that’s checking in. That was easy as all the cleaning supplies are there for use at the cabin. „We had a great time at the cabin! The cabin and outbuildings were very clean. The sheets were soft, and each bed had 2 nice pillows. Well-stocked kitchen and plenty of firewood and washing water. „Our visit worked out exactly as hoped, giving us the perfect central location to get to Oswald’s Bear Ranch, Pictured Rocks, Kitch-iti Kipi , Tahquamenon Falls, and Benny the Beard Fisher. A few things to keep in mind though when you choose this property: the upstairs bedroom is an open loft (without a door for privacy), evening dining on the rear deck has a lovely view but is subject to loud road noise, and if you have someone sleeping on the pullouts in the living room it is quite comfortable ...

„We enjoyed the bunkhouse and it's quiet and peaceful rustic setting both inside and out. It was the perfect location for what we wanted to do (hike bike and relax). The sandy roads were not ideal for our biking but we managed to find some semi paved rds, the places we hiked were perfect as was the bonus trip to the Shipwreck museum and miles of walking along the shore of Lake Superior. Our biggest complaint was the mosquitos! We could not seem to get away from them!! Next time we would consider ...

„This is a beautiful cabin with extremely comfortable furnishings. The entire cabin was spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals, including an electric griddle. We had cool weather, so we particularly enjoyed the gas fireplace. If we make another trip to the U.P., we will definitely stay here again. “
