„Sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage mit einem wirklich schönen Zimmer. Leckeres Frühstück. Leider waren uns die Betten zu hart. Sehr störend fanden wir, dass die Dusche nur über eine fest montierte Brause an der Wand und keine Handbrause verfügt. Die Abgrenzung zur Toilette war ein Duschvorhang. Das, an sich tolle Waschbecken befindet sich im Schlafzimmer auf Teppichboden und nicht im Bad. “

„The property was spotless and cleaned every day. Staff checked if needed anything. Very helpful and pleasant service.“

„We stayed two nights in The Knowes Hotel, and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Our room had a splendid view over the harbour and bay. It was quiet and cosy. The hotel has a very good restaurant and the hotel team and those in the bar and restaurant are really very nice.“

„Beautiful, uninterrupted view of the sea. House was contemporary, clean, well furnished with good amenities. Lovely area of Scotland. “

„Cosy modernised end terrace house. Centrally located. Ideal for a short stay.“

„Very nice location. Comfortable but some dirty dishes in the cupboards and no waste bins in the bathrooms. Washing machine was very good and weather was good enough to dry clothes outside.“

„The heaters need to be cleaned really badly. We turned them on because the house was cold, but they started to smell horrible. Like burnt dust. The carpets are stained and need a good steam cleaning. There was a very strange and offensive odor in the master bedroom. It smelled like the chemicals in a hair salon. We booked 3 nights and only stayed for 1. Expedia tried to reach out to the property owner, but they didn’t respond and we couldn’t get our money back. I don’t recommend this rental.“
