"Amazing Hotel I can only recommend this place The breakfast was amazing, the room was perfect and it had everything I needed It was big, clean and the bathroom was exceptional I asked for a room with a view on Taipei 101 and it was exactly as I asked for! I also needed an iron, they have also provided me with that. The personnel was also really nice If I ever come back I wanna go here again, just to have that experience again."

"Our stay at the Shangri-La Far Eastern Taipei was overall very enjoyable, although the hotel is clearly showing its age. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but would greatly benefit from a complete renovation. The furnishings feel somewhat dated and no longer fully match the standard one would expect from a luxury hotel of this category. The staff deserve special recognition. Every member of the team was exceptionally courteous, friendly, and eager to help throughout our stay. The outstanding service is undoubtedly one of the hotel's greatest strengths and made us feel truly welcome. There is, however, a noticeable difference when it comes to breakfast. The breakfast buffet in the main restaurant was disappointing. While the selection is extensive, the food itself is rather bland, uninspired, and lacking in creativity. In contrast, breakfast in the Horizon Lounge was excellent. Although the selection is much smaller, every item is of outstanding quality. Everything is fresh, carefully prepared, and delicious. If you have access to the Horizon Lounge, it is definitely the better choice for breakfast. Overall, the Shangri-La Far Eastern Taipei stands out for its exceptional service, spacious rooms, and the excellent breakfast in the Horizon Lounge. However, the hotel would greatly benefit from a refurbishment of its rooms and public areas to once again meet the high standards expected of the Shangri-La brand."

"Das Hotel liegt sehr nahe am Bahnhof und ist somit gut erreichbar. In der Lobby gibt es sogar Café von Starbucks. Das Highlight des Hotels ist der Pool am Dach mit einer sehr guten Aussicht. Dort gibt es Toiletten und sogar Duschen im Gym gleich daneben. Wir durften auch vor dem Checkin den Pool verwenden. Die Zimmer sind groß und sehr sauber."

"Ich hatte einen super Aufenthalt! Die Lage ist perfekt für City-Trips, da die U-Bahn quasi vor der Tür liegt. Besonders praktisch: Ein FamilyMart ist in einer Minute zu Fuß erreichbar. Zu Fuß 11 min entfernt gibt es auch ein spitzes BBQ Geschäft. Ein riesiges Plus ist das Personal, sie sprechen top Englisch und helfen bei jeder Frage weiter. Ich habe auch den hoteleigenen Taxi-Transfer genutzt und war sehr zufrieden mit dem Ablauf. Die Zimmerreinigung war top, es wurde jeden Tag sauber gemacht und es gab immer frische Handtücher. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt war die etwas laute Klimaanlage, was mich persönlich aber nicht groß gestört hat. Insgesamt ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!"
