Sehr schöne und gemütliche Unterkunft mit sehr engagiertem und höflichem Personal. Obwohl die Unterkunft etwas abgelegen ist, kommt man mit dem Bus sehr gut zu sämtlichen Stränden, nach Downtown oder zum Supermarkt. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Für geräuschempfindliche Personen vll. nicht zu empfehlen, da die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind. Uns hat dies allerdings nicht wirklich gestört.

Sehr, schönes & romantisches Hotel, zimmer unbedingt mit Ocean View buchen. Jedoch gab es bei uns keine Gastronomie im Hotel - es gab kein Essen - wir mussten Pizza per Kurier bestellen. Hammer Aussicht aufs Meer, sehr schöne Hotel-Terrasse. Es gibt wenig Gastronomie in der Nähe (oder sind geschlossen).

Der Traumblick von der Terrasse entschädigt über das doch etwas abseits gelegene, kleine B&B Hotel. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit mit netten Tipps für eine Ausflug. Busverbindung direkt vorm Hotel für 1,50$ Und man hält, wo und wann man möchte😉

Tolles Hotel mit herzlichem Personal
Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und sogar zum Zimmer begleitet. Dieses Zimmer war groß, sauber und hatte alles nötige. Die zum Zimmer gehörende Terrasse mit Blick auf den Pool und die Stadt war gemütlich. Von der allgemeinen Terrasse am Empfang des Hotels kann man den tollen Blick auf das Meer bei angenehmer Musik genießen. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, sodass wir uns sehr wohl fühlten.

Great and clean place with friendly staff
It's a charming place. Renaldo is doing an awesome job like the rest of the staff. Very friendly and clean atmosphare, good fresh made food, nice breakfast. Just 7 minutes from the airport. Nice restaurant louis&steens coffehouse on the beach around the corner within 7 min of walking.

Zunächst einmal sei gesagt, dass sich das Hotel sehr weit außerhalb von Downtown Nassau befindet und wer kein eigenes Auto zur Verfügung hat, ist auf die öffentlichen Busse beziehungsweise die überteuerten Taxis angewiesen. Eine Fahrt in die Stadt kostet 30 Dollar, die Busse kosten 1.50. Allerdings fahren die Busse zu keinen festen Zeiten und wenn man in die entgegengesetzte Richtung möchte, muss man Geduld und Glück haben, ansonsten muss man laufen. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und relativ geräumig, für den Preis kann man nichts beanstanden. Allerdings kommt das Wasser nur mit sehr wenig Druck aus der Leitung, weshalb man schon mal etwas länger duschen muss, bis das Shampoo aus den Haaren ist. Darüber hinaus dauert es eine Weile bis man die Wassertemperatur reguliert hat. Bei der Ankunft waren wir sehr sehr durstig, den bis zur Rezeption muss man erstmal eine lange Treppe emporsteigen. Jedoch gab es kein Wasser im Zimmer und der Mann an der Rezeption, der offensichtlich der Hausmeister war, konnte uns nicht sagen, woher wir Wasser bekommen können. Als Alternative zu Wasser kann man Bier für 4 Dollar erhalten, aber es gibt auch Wasser für 2 Dollar zu kaufen, wie wir am nächsten Tag herausfanden. Das Personal ist alles in allem sehr freundlich, auch wenn manchmal niemand aufzufinden ist, wenn man eine Frage hat. Die Aussicht auf's Meer ist nicht zu toppen, da das Hotel auf einem Hügel liegt. Die Sauberkeit ist zufriedenstellend, das Frühstück ist auch in Ordnung.

Private Atmosphäre zum erschwinglichen Preis
Ich bin habe mit meiner Freundin dort eine eine Woche verbracht. Erst waren wir etwas erschrocken über die nähe zum Flughafen aber der Flugverkehr war gering und hat uns nur sehr wenig gestört. Die Lage im Gambien Village hat Vor- und Nachteile. Es ist für die Insel sehr un-touristisch und privat aber halt auch recht weit entfernt von Shopping oder Essmöglichkeiten. Dafür wiegt das gute und wiederum sehr private Hotel essen wieder auf. Es gibt keine feste Karte, diese wird alle paar Tage geändert je nach dem Täglichen Fang. Collin, der Kellner/Mann-für-Alles ist ein unglaublich freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Mitarbeiter des Hotels, der einem gerne jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Im Gegensatz zu anderen "hilfreichen" Menschen auf der Insel weiß man bei ihm, dass er nicht in erster Linie darauf achtet an unser Geld zu kommen. NIcht nur Collin sondern auch die anderen Staff-Member sind sehr nette und hilfsbereite Einheimische. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr klein mit nur ca. 10 Zimmern. Das Gebäude ist im typischen Viktorianischen Styl der britischen Kolonialzeit mit rundum Balkon. Wir hatten mit unserem Zimmer 80% Glück. wir waren in der 2ten Etage und hatten somit einen schönen Balkon mit Hängematte. die 20% die fehlten waren unser Inselblick anstatt Meerblick und die Sichtlinie auf den Flughafen. Dies ist das perfekte Hotel für Urlauber die gerne die Seele der Insel und Menschen kennen lernen wollen.

Ich hatte mit Frühstück gebucht und nach 1,5 Stunden warten immer noch kein Frühstück bekommen. ich musste selber in die Küche gehen und mir mein Frühstück selber holen. Es war ein Stück Restkäse, 2 Toastscheiben, Teller, Besteck. Obwohl ein Mitarbeiter das gesehen hat, wurde kein Frühstück serviert.

Ruhig und etwas abseits vom Trubel.
Hübsches, kleines Hotel nah am Airport. Wir brauchten eine Übernachtung für unseren Weiterflug nach Eleuthera und wollten nicht im touristischen Nassau, sondern eher ruhig und gemütlich absteigen. Das hat geklappt! Wer aber sofort vor die Tür gehen möchte, um eine schöne Gegend (Strand, Natur, Shopping) zu besichtigen ist hier falsch.

In der Tat, ungefähr einen Steinwurf vom Meer. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist für die Bahamas gut, das Frühstück ausgezeichnet. Der Service ist ebenfalls hervorragend, wenn der Abholservice vom Flughafen mal nicht klappt, bekommt man halt das Taxi erstattet. Strandlage mit Schicki-Micki darf man nicht erwarten, aber das weiß man ja. Insgesamt SEHR empfehlenswert!

The plus: It's a very cute bed and breakfast, an old house with a lot of charm and a wonderful view of the sea. The food for dinner (Indian cuisine) is excellent. Staff is really nice and helpful The less fun part: there is absolutely no insonorisation. You will ear everything. Our door opened alone when there was people moving around. The bed was way too soft. There is not much to see around, we try to go for a walk, but there is no walkway by the beach, and the streets behind are not that welcoming. It's ok for a night before or after a flight, but another guest who planned to stay for the week was looking for something else.

The property was very clean, the customer service was more than adequate. They went above and beyond to make are stay comfortable. The staff carried are bags to our room and the views from the restaurant balcony were serine and sir real. The Bar was open to the hotel guest at their convenience, the only downside is, if you don’t know how to mix a drink. Then wine is your only option. The other downside to the hotel is the rear balcony views are less than romantic. Unless watching planes land and take off is your thing. If you set your stay up thru Expedia (there are No Jet Tubes). Outside of these few issues we will definitely visit A Stones throw away. It’s perfect if you want a relaxing vacation to the Bahamas without the hustle and bustle of tourism, however it’s still close enough you can get a taste without being overwhelmed by the classic younger group get away.

Such a cute place to stay
From start to finish, all of the staff were so amazing and friendly! It’s such a cute little quaint place to stay the only thing is our tv didn’t work, but we weren’t in our room a lot, so we didn’t mind. I’m sure they would’ve fixed it if we had asked. The view from the deck was amazing and we loved having breakfast out there.

Love the quietness and simplicity. Views and property is very nice. However, the hotel need to pay more attention to providing service, better breakfast options.

Check in was great. Room AC was not turned on before arrival, like an oven. When showering, towels discovered to be try rotted and tearing. Pillows very old and flat. Have stayed here before, same room was great so very surprised. Also booked suite, only got a single king bed room. Was not what was booked

I did not like the fact that i left South Florida and planned to stay in my room and leave ONLY to eat. Unfortunately i had no wifi and no tv for the entire duration of my visit which was very,very disappointing to me. I had to call at&t and purchase an international roaming package in order to use my phone. The selection of food for dinner was Indian food only which is quite ridiculous,because as a matter of fact there were no Indian guests staying at the B&B. Folks like myself who didn't rent a car and didn't plan to...would have appreciated the opportunity to purchase lunch and dinner providing it's not the same thing everyday,pay a chef to prepare meals and make you guests feel comfortable and not have to worry about going out for meals. If you're running a B&B arrangements should be made to have a variety of foods available and owing to the fact that the B&B is perched on top of a hill management should make sure the wifi and basics like the tv cable service is up and running. It was my birthday the next day after i arrived and i was not happy at all. Its a quiet and beautiful location but improvements need to be made to match the price of those rooms. Management promised to credit the cost of one night and pay my taxi fare back to the airport which they did...but i would have been happier if i had just the basic necessities in order to enjoy my stay while i was a guest. AGAIN....improvements really do need to be made to match the cost of those rooms per night.
