We loved the location right on the river and enjoyed Congolese, sitting on the deck, and just taking in the river views. Our teenage kids loved their own space in the basement. „We were not familiar with the Barbee chain of lakes before booking this unit. This place is a gem that seems to appear out of the cornfields as we traveled north. The bungalow has a great location right on the lake. The unit accommodated the five of us (two parents and 3 adult kids) fine. While we had an issue with the water for the unit during our stay, the host was very responsive and helpful in resolving the problem. „The house is beautiful. Everything you need is all there. I would say the downstairs queen bed mattress was not comfortable for my back. I do realize it is a rental. Also they have at least 2 wasps nest by the spa. I gave it a 4 stars for the area only because there is road noise. I would definitely come back. “
