„We had a really wonderful winter retreat at the Maverick, with its striking mid-century modern decor. Lots of toasty fires and appreciated the quiet, lovely property filled with the songs of woodpeckers and other birds. Henry is incredibly responsive and communicative. The house is up a steep hill which our 2-wheel drive rental car struggled up in the snow and ice - but we made it and plow trucks kept it clear during our stay. „This was an excellent place and location for our girls trip. We went to Mohonk Mountain House, FDR’s house in Hyde Park, Hudson River Walk, and shopped and ate near the house in New Paltz. The host was so helpful and the house was perfect with all the supplies you’d need. We brought yoga mats but to our surprise they had some there! The backyard view was stunning too! Highly recommend. “
