Perfect!
Staff were really welcoming, friendly and helpful on arrival. The room was gorgeous and so cosy! It was a really lovely place. We only stayed as we were attending a friends wedding, but we will definitely stay again when we can spend more time. It was a perfect stay!

A nice stay in the Swan Nantwich
Really enjoyed the stay, it was a lovely place, with friendly and efficient staff. As well as a good menu and nice breakfast, there was a good separate gluten free menu for tea and breakfast. Not sure on eco friendliness.

The property is located not far from Stoke but in a rural village with unique church tower and right next to Wybunbury Moss National Nature Reserve. The inn itself has a historic feel, but accommodation is in an adjacent long, single-storey building behind, next to the inn's car park. Ours (room 7) was clean, comfortable and fine for our overnight stay, but not especially spacious or luxurious. Dinner comprised decent pub food (generous portions), breakfast was packet cereals (no muesli) with generous 'full English' or variations thereof plus toast and tea or coffee.

The room was fine - basic, but served our needs. Having the pub right there was great. The gentleman (forgot his name) who served our breakfast in the morning was just a delight. Very friendly and accomodating. He made our visit a pleasant one!

Nice enough. Accommodation is is in rooms off the car park. Food wasn’t the best and the local Church bell rang on the hour through the night which didn’t help. Lovely location and parking adjacent to rooms.

Country pub with beautiful immaculate rooms, the bed was super comfy. I was late to check in and the restaurant was closed however the team ensured i was fed with the greatest quality food. Super friendly Team, looking forward to returning.

Wanted to get away from chain hotels during a week long work trip in the UK and this was a fantastic choice.. lovely little pub, great service, fantastic food and the rooms were lovely, far better than anywhere else I’d stayed this week.. would definitely recommend and will go back next time I’m in Crewe for work

Our room was lovely. It had it's own front door and was really cosy and warm. The shower was absolutely excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Parking was directly outside the room. Can't fault it at all.

Charming inn but uncomfortable bed
We loved the pub and their delicious food! The room was clean and charming. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the bed was tiny and extremely uncomfortable. We barely slept the entire night. Also, we could hear the people’s conversation and music in the room next door.

Well worth a visit.
4th year here for our Anniversary and apart from waiting 20 mins, then having to ask for menus, along with main courses presented immediately after starters (which got sent back). Everything was fine. I believe its standard practice to let diners wait 15 mins between courses to allow for comfort breaks, let stomach settle a bit etc. Waiter offered to keep the food warm, but i told him if the Hake has dried out, it will get sent back again. So both courses were cooked again from fresh. The cheeseboard is amazing. Very good breakfast, friendly staff.

The accommodation was in an annexe to the main building. I had a very pleasant, recently decorated, super clean and pleasant room with a very comfortable bed. There was a stylish and powerful fan in the room, which – it being the hottest day on record – was absolutely vital. The bathroom was very large and bright with a super shower. The dining area/pub however was in a more traditional style with some eccentric decorations. There was no cooling here and it was quite stuffy. The food was very good though. Service was very friendly, but a bit slow (I believe they were short staffed). All in all, a pleasant experience.

The staff were all very friendly and made you feel very welcome. An extremely pleasant pub and the evening dinner and breakfast were excellent. Unfortunately, in the bathroom the toilet brush had not been cleaned from a previous stay and it contained a lot of toilet paper and other material which I will not describe. The room itself was very good and sleeping was a challenge as the church bells at the adjacent church sounded every hour on the hour throughout the night. A very good village location.

I stayed here one night for work, the Church bells do ring quite loudly through the night, but they do offer ear plugs. It's fine for one night. Breakfast was nice, very inviting and a lovely quaint dining area. My only issue with the property was the lack of real vegetarian options. Chips are cooked with meat even though they're on the vegetarian options, I had sticky toffee pudding and custard for my dinner! Overall a lovely, pleasant stay, great comfortable room, bathroom was spotless and modern.
