The ratings are deceivingly high for this hotel. We had so many problems.
What was good: Food, location, gym and unique look to hotel.
What was bad: The service is inconsistent, we were in the most expensive room and never got the welcome fruits everybody else got in the room. Woke up one morning and they had not refreshed the towels or washcloths so had to share with my partner. My friends and I all went out for the whole day and came back around 5pm to find our rooms hadn’t been cleaned, had to call and complain. Remote control had no batteries. The tv in bathroom didn’t work. Weird smells come and go throughout the day. Bath salts not topped up after use. My friend staying at the same time had to change rooms a couple of times because AC or toilet weren’t working. They play music in the hallways and it woke me up every morning. The couches are as hard as a rock in the rooms. The Chinese light switches are annoying, just use normal ones lol!
Next time I’m in Nairobi we won’t be staying here, until we hear they get their act together. As a Hilton hotel we thought they would be much better but ya it’s just a name..
