„This property was a wonderful base camp for all of our adventures in the U.P. We also really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and personal touches as well as the back porch lakeside vibe. The only problem we encountered was with the ac unit. It was an unusually hot day for this area when we first arrived and the unit kept throwing a code.The owner was very responsive and helpful, visiting us personally to make sure everything was OK. Would recommend!!“

It is relatively centrally located, close to good public beaches on both Great and small lakes, and while you do have to drive to get places - it's the UP - the drives are beautiful and its a great home base for day trips; we went to Pictures ...

"Die Zimmer waren groß und die Betten weich. Es war nicht weit bis zu verschiedenen gastronomischen Einrichtungen. Der "virtuelle" Check-In war für uns total schwer, da wir nicht so gut Englisch beherrschen. Wir mussten nämlich eine Telefonnummer anrufen, dort unsere Kreditkarten -Daten durchgeben - das geht eigentlich gar nicht!!! (obwohl wir diese bei der Buchung ja bereits hinterlegt hatten). Dann wurden uns die Zimmernummern und Codes für die Tür gesagt. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer war abgewohnt, der Teppich nicht gesaugt und voller Fussel und Krümel."
