Gute preis-leistung. Personal sehr freundlich aber weiss nichts über die umgebung. Lage finde ich super, mit minibus kommt man schnell überall hin

Günstiges einfaches Hotel.
Für omanische Verhältnisse ruhig geleges Hotel ohne viel Schnick Schnack. Für Geschäftsreisende deren Budget kein 5 Sterne Hotel vorsieht durchaus empfehlenswert.

A 3 Star hotel but it has comfortable asmotsphere
i've booked 5 nights (Jan 27 to 31) with splitted booking. Expedia dealing that time "executive suite". So, on my "request" i've mentioned to them that "i am looking forward to have that room i book "which shown on expedia website" When we got there, the receptionist treid to give us standard room with the argument that "expedia dealing the wrong accumodation for such price" and i argued with her that they suppose to monitor the Expedia to clarify, which room and in which price is being deal and not suppose to accept the booking of us. Otherwise, it seems like scamming online clients and that would be bad for Al Maha Hotel. But thanks to this Nepali Receptionist, she dealed the things with politeness. So, finaly we could stay in Suite 4. It was around 15:00 o'clock. In the room we heared such noise, we thought it's renovation upstair but it was a Gym over us. And this issue was continue until early in the morning. Though we called the night crew. The next day the manager came over to us and he apologized about what was happened. They brought us to Suite 3 (with a plate of fruit on the sitiing table) up then myself and my Fiance we felt well. We would like to thanks here the whole Al Maha Team for thier effort to make our stay comfortable.

Als Unterkunft bei Geschäftsreisen ok, da günstig gelegen, vertretbarer Preis , sauber und übersichtlich....Bett war ok und alles sauber. Frühstück ist beschränkt und sonst. Einrichtungen waren nicht verfügbar. Internet ist kostenlos und funktionierte aber langsam. Insgesamt vertretbar und da gleich gegenüber meines Geschäftspartners, werde ich es wieder nutzen. Preis-Leisung angemessen, aber keinen Luxus erwarten!

Das Hotel war mittelmäßig, das Personal unfähig, das Frühstück sehr schlecht. Die Zimmer waren nicht besonders sauber und es gibt nicht überall WLAN. Also unbedingt vorher klären.

Gute Ausgangslage
Das Al Maha International Hotel ist ein günstig gelegenes Hotel in der Stadt (Restaurants in der Nähe, Muscat Grand Mall 5 Automin., Muttrah Souk 15 min). Das Hotelpersonal ist stets freundlich und hilft in allen Belangen weiter. Das Frühstück (eher englisch) könnte abwechslungsreicher sein, Abendessen ist günstig (Buffet 11 €, a la carte weniger; auswärts jedoch meist noch preiswerter). Der Pool auf dem Dach eignet sich für zwischendurch zum Relaxen; Fitnessraum ist hervorragend ausgestattet! Es lohnt sich ein Besuch im Luxushotel The Chedi (kurze Taxifahrt, 20 min zu Fuß). Dort kann man Drinks in sehr chilliger Atmosphäre auf Lounges am Pool genießen!

Average - Durchschnitt
Hotel liegt abgelegen von Altstadt und Strand. Umgebung ist armselig. Hotel als solches gut jedoch für Touristen wenig geeignet wegen der Lage und keinerlei tourismusinformation. Oman ist wenig auf Tourismus organisiert. Touren sind kaum vorhanden. Keine öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Man kann sich nur mit teuren Taxis möglich oder Auto mieten. Besuch von Nizwa, Bahla, Fort Jabrin nur mit Mietwagen möglich. Verkehr ist sehr ordentlich. Habe Hotel nur wegen dem Preis ausgesucht.

Triste Esperienza
All’arrIvo la signora addetta alla reception ha contestato la prenotazione. Innanzitutto non riconosceva le date di soggiorno, quando check e check-out erano segnati in modo ineccepibile in due lingue, sul foglio di promemoria. Ovviamente voleva farci pagare la differenza. Poi ha contestato la prenotazione di nostra figlia di 14 anni che sul sito è considerata bambino e da loro adulto. Così abbiamo pagato la differenza per il terzo letto. La stanza non era la stessa della prenotazione ( non siamo assolutamente riusciti a capire perché non poteva mettere il terzo letto in una camera di 32 metri con letto king come risulta dalla prenotazione) Così eravamo sistemati in 3 letti separati, con le valigie a terra in una stanzetta con dotazione e servizi essenziali, come il sapone e la carta igienica, scarsi per 2 persone ( anche se avevamo pagato il terzo adulto). Inoltre la stessa signora si è rifiutata di stamparci la carta d’imbarco per il volo di ritorno. Fortunatamente la sera cambiava il personale della reception. In sintesi hotel da evitare in una città con servizi ottimi e persone veramente squisite

Could have been better
First upon arrival tried to say reservation was for only one and wanted more money. This hotel has all the facilities for a very good hotel but the room maintenance left a lot to be desired- didn’t clean bathroom some days, soap was inadequate, tv difficult to operate, breakfast buffet left something to be desired- and Saran Wrap covered dishes instead of covered bowls. Coffee was only instant.

Not too far from the beach. Clean, comfortable, good selection of restaurants near by, as is the Avenues Mall of Oman. The pool area was often very quiet which meant it was nice and relaxing. The WiFi came and went in the room.

There are many good restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel. And it is convenient from the closest bus stop(Al Gubla). It will take about minutes by walk.

Great location and good overall
Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. WiFi need to improvements as we just couldn't get online in our room most of the time. Breakfast was nice and varied each day which was a nice surprise. The fitness 'centre' needs an upgrade, but useful for thr one time I used it and the pool is a nice touch, but as the beach is so close, you're better off going there. Location is excellent, 10 mins from the Grand Mosque, 15 mins from the Opera House, 30 mins from the port, and for other places of interest we didn't need more than half an hour planning time. Plenty of food choices locally and only a few mins away from Avenues and Muscat Grand Mall for additional food places.

Zbyt drogi w stosunku do oferowanych warunków.
Cena dojazdu taksówką z lotniska do hotelu to 9 OMR. Dość przyzwoity hotel z wygodnymi pokojami. Niestety hotelowa gastronomia, tzn. śniadania, lunche i kolacje, droga w stosunku do oferowanych potraw (śniadanie 4 OMR, lunch 6 OMR, dinner 6 OMR). W pobliskiej restauracji można zjeść obfity i smaczny posiłek z butelką wody za 3,50 OMR. Plusem hotelu ma być jego położenie w centrum miasta, ale odległości w Muscat są tak duże, że z hotelu przemieszczenie się gdziekolwiek i tak wymaga taksówek. Hotel można polecić w zasadzie tylko ze względu na czystość oraz miły i uczynny personel.

فندق نظيف جديد نوعا ما ينقصه بعض الحرفيه في اداره الفنادق بشكل عام ممتاز لمن يبحث عن فندق مريح وسط منطقه كل الخدمات قريبه منه فقط تفاجانا برده فعل موظفي الاستقبال عند علمهم بقيمه الحجز حيث كان فعلا سعر منخفض عن طريق Hotels.com لدرجه انه اخذ وقت طويل حتى ياكدوا لنا الحجز

Considering you need a car in Muscat, then the location is fine. Muscat is very spread out so it doesn't really matter where you stay. Has a convenience store right opposite which is very useful.
