„Lovely decorated ryokan, but no lift to the rooms. Rooms were very nicely equipped even though it was not large. My room windows faced the river with the “rotating” bridge over the river to Amanohashidate, the view was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is great, next to the area’s main attraction. Some shopping on the road leading to ryokan, the Kaiseki meals were well presented. Delicious meal even with the ingredients not top grade.“

Our spacious room had a picture-perfect view of the bay. The food was stupendous. Fresh, varied, and yummy. The staff are very professional and pleasant. They did everything to make our stay wonderful. The location is just a 6-minute walk to the station, and the hotel also provides a shuttle. I didn't want to leave!“

„Superbe hôtel, à 12 min à pied de la gare (marche en bord de route). Nous avons pris une chambre style japonais avec un bain privé. La chambre avec couchages futon et mobilier japonais était immense. Le bain onsen privé est incroyable, dommage que la vue sur la mer soit entre deux toits de maisons et derrière les lignes de la voie ferrée. Peu de trains donc pas gênant pour dormir et c'est bien insonorisé.

„After a few hectic days in Kyoto we started to relax on the 2 1/2 hour train ride to Amino. The hotel shuttle picked us up as previously arranged.
The hotel has only 8 bedrooms, all with sea views. The staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic. The food is excellent; we had the Japanese meals but some western dish are available.“
