The Space:

Grampians Views Moyston by Tiny Away is a peaceful tiny house located just 5 km from the town of Moyston, set on a scenic sheep farm and only a short detour off the main route—just 32 minutes from Grampians National Park.



Surrounded by rugged bushland, you'll be close to amazing hikes like the Pinnacle Walk and panoramic lookouts such as Boroka Lookout. Waterfalls like MacKenzie Falls and quiet nature spots like Venus Baths and Silverband Falls are also just a short drive away.



This 139-square-foot tiny home is set beside a quiet creek with beautiful views of the Grampians. It offers a comfortable stay with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the tiny home and have free access to stroll along 2.5km of natural bushland creek. They are also invited to hike to the hilltop for panoramic 360-degree views of the countryside.

- Given the rural setting, children are welcome under CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION.

- Free firewood available, please ask. Please do not collect firewood from the surrounding bushland or creek area. We kindly ask you to respect the natural surroundings and use only the pre-cut firewood is provided near the fire pit for your use.

Grampians Views Moyston by Tiny Away is located in the peaceful town of Moyston, just an hour from Ballarat. Victoria. Here at our tiny house, you'll be surrounded by lush greenery and golden fields, making it the perfect getaway for nature lovers and those craving a slower pace.



While you’re here, check out some of our favorite local spots like Venus Baths, Silverband Falls, Mackenzie Falls, and Boroka Lookout. Nature lovers will enjoy the Grampians National Park, and families will love a trip to the Halls Gap Zoo.



Visit Grampians Estate Winery and Pomonal Estate Winery for award-winning wines and scenic vineyard views. Just 13–15 minutes away, Ararat and Pomonal offer beautiful landscapes, local vineyards, and a relaxed country atmosphere.



Getting Around:

By car:



- From Melbourne to Moyston is approximately a 2.5 to 3-hour drive northwest of Melbourne via the Western Highway (M8).

- From Sydney to Moyston is about an 8 to 9-hour drive southwest of Sydney via the Hume Highway (M31) and then the Western Highway (M8) after passing through Melbourne.



By public transport:



- All public transport is available to Ararat, and from there taxi service is available

- From Melbourne to Moyston, you can take a V/Line train from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne to Ballarat Station.

From Ballarat, you can either rent a car or take a taxi for the approximately 1-hour drive to Moyston.



- If you are traveling from Sydney to Moyston, your best options would be:



Flight to Melbourne or Ballarat:



- Fly from Sydney Airport to Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine).

- From Melbourne, you can either rent a car and drive to Moyston (approximately a 2.5 to 3-hour drive) or take a domestic flight to nearby Ballarat Airport (Ballarat is about an hour's drive from Moyston).



Public Transport:



- Take a flight from Sydney to Melbourne.

- From Melbourne, take a V/Line train from Southern Cross Station to Ballarat Station.

- From Ballarat, you can rent a car or take a taxi for the approximately 1-hour drive to Moyston.



Other Things to Note:

- Gas BBQ Grill is available

- Phone reception has a good signal

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- No smoking inside the tiny home, except in the fenced camp area

- No open fires and BBQ grills allowed during fire season

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property.

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
