„Had a wonderful stay at the Shangri-La Mountain Retreat! Not a stretch to say one of the best stocked rental homes ever I've ever booked. We stayed two nights with three families including kids ranging from 2-12 years old. „My elderly parents and I were elated throughout our stay in this lovely cabin with vintage flair. It is within walking distance to Cuyamaca Lake and within a short drive to Julian. The cabin is very clean, and it has all the kitchen essentials, laundromat combo, TV, WiFi, etc. We have stayed here before, and we were glad to come back for the peace and tranquility we enjoy in these paradise-like surroundings. „We loved our little getaway to this special Cabin in Julian Ca. Everything was clean, cared for and very on point with the 50s cabin theme. John was attentive, helpful and easy to reach. He let us adjust the reservation last min and we loved reading about his personal family history and reason for buying the cabin. It was secluded, private but very close to everything in town. Just what we were looking for, we will definitely be back! “

„Such a beautiful and peaceful property covered in manzanitas, oaks and pines - and views. California Scrub Jays, Stellar’s Jays and Acorn Woodpeckers galore. Wild turkeys passed through daily - at one point we counted a flock of over 50 in the manzanita grove. Two deers walk through, as well. Countless stars at night. The mini cabin was perfect for our desired getaway and was outfitted with all we needed. “

„The beds were comfortable. We loved the coziness and warmth of the fireplace. The stained glass windows are so pretty and the views are gorgeous. The cleaning crew could do a better job.
