Oaklands Estate - Picturesque home, with pool & spa in park like gardens
As you enter the tree lined driveway, you will instantly relax as the pretty white house and beautiful gardens reveal themselves. Oaklands Estate is situated on the Sydney side of Mudgee in a quiet, rural location less than 10 minutes easy drive to Mudgee town centre.
This welcoming home offers the perfect escape while still being within 15 minutes of 30 wineries, one being within walking distance. Oaklands Estate offers 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and can sleep up to 16, making it a great destination for multiple family get togethers.
The main home offers 4 beautifully styled bedrooms, 3 newly renovated bathrooms, 2 living areas and a kitchen, pantry and dining area. Beside the main home is the newly renovated modern pavilion, offering a further 2 bedrooms, including a kid’s bedroom that sleeps up to 4. The pavilion has its own bathroom, kitchen, pool table, dining area and a large deck to relax on and take in the lovely views. Both the main home and pavilion offer reverse cycled air-conditioning and a combustion wood heater to keep you extra warm in winter.
Outside the home there are 10 acres to explore with many options for young and young at heart. Take a dip in the 12m heated pool or enjoy a spa! nestled between the house & pavilion (this will be completed mid January 2023) Stroll through the gardens, inspect the small vineyard, say hello to Thomas & Wilson the Scottish Highland steers, collect fresh eggs from the chicken coop or pick some fruit from the orchard. The children will have a ball in the very large and well-equipped playhouse that comes with its own TV and PS4 gaming! At night you can have a BBQ on the deck or sit by the outdoor fire pit and just relax.
If you don’t feel like cooking at home, there are many great cafes and restaurants in Mudgee to explore. There are also a number of historical and picturesque towns to visit, including Gulgong, Rylstone and Kandos, all within a 40 minute drive.

Unforgettable Stay
Our friends and I recently stayed at Oakland’s Estate in Mount Frome through Stayz for a wedding we attended. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we enjoyed our time here.
First of all, the location of the property was incredible.
Mount Frome is a beautiful area, and the views from the house were stunning. It provided a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The surrounding nature added to the peaceful ambiance of the place.
The house itself was spacious and well-maintained.
It had all the amenities we needed during our stay. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean, ensuring a good night's sleep.
One highlight of our stay was the outdoor space. The property had a lovely garden and patio area where we enjoyed our morning coffees and evening drinks. It was a great spot to soak up the sunshine.
The owner of the property was also very accommodating and helpful. They provided clear instructions for check-in and were very helpful with information about the town and things to do.
We’d love to come back here.

Special location with a wonderful host
What an incredible property with two homes, spectacular gardens & a pool (which was being built). An easy trip in to the town & wineries thought we ordered a bus. A fire pit outside to enjoy while watching the sunset as well as an indoor fire. Kendall was also really communicative & provided a list of what was in on over the weekend we stayed. Perfect property with lots of space for a big group x

Oaklands Estate was perfect for our family weekend celebrations
The accommodation was enough for 8 adults and 7 children and the pool table in the Pavilion had a lot of use
The dining table was large enough for the adults and the multiple lounge areas were appreciated as was the cubby house for the kids
Plenty of room on the property with marshmallows and wine around the fire pit

Oaklands Estate Luxury
Could not ask for better! Everything from the booking through to our stay was exceptional. The most remarkable 10 acre property with beautiful scenery. The main house has large living areas & 4 stunning bedrooms, all with king beds. The modern self contained pavilion has another 2 superb bedrooms well appointed with bunks & a king bed. It also has a snooker which will provide hours of entertainment for everyone. Looking forward to another visit very soon as we have many more wineries to visit. Thanks Kendall for your hospitality!!
