„We loved this property! The units were very clean and equipped well. Very close to Bar Harbor and Acadia. The huge outdoor patio had comfortable seating and a fire pit for guest to use. Also had another area for grilling with quality grills for guest use. Would definitely recommend this property and we would stay there again if we travel that way. “

„Would of liked to stay in a yurt/but we just happened ontothis VRBO and were fortunate to grab a cancellation timeslot. Ended up loving the spot. Seemed more secluded then the yurts. The owners thought of everything.(except a bathroom sink, but the kitchen sink is fine. Bed was comfortable. And the community sharing at the red barn was another thoughtful plus to the property. Great location for exploring the Acadia area. Book it ! You won't regret it.“

„Sehr gemütliches, gut ausgestattetes Cottage in welchem wir uns zu viert sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Die Küche hat alles was man braucht um gut zu kochen. Ein Supermarkt ist ganz in der Nähe. Gute Ausgangslage für Trips in den Acadia National Park. Ein sehr schöner Badesee mit Sandstrand ist ganz nah. “

„This location worked out perfectly for us as it was a short drive to Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor and many of the Acadia entrances. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful July 4th wknd stay. There’s a wonderful place across the street for breakfast, coffee, ice cream etc. thanks for a great stay!“

The thoughtful touches such as the games, travel coffee mugs and well stocked fire pit and activity closet make this rental stand out against all the others. The whole property was spotless and beautiful. Conveniently located to the park and some excellent lobster rolls. I cannot say enough good things. We very much enjoyed our stay, only wishing it was longer.“

„The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities. Unfortunately the microwave did not work and guest service did not about it. Neither did the local contact. Had bought home cooked food and the lack of a microwave was very bad.“

„The Highland Cottage was perfect!! We spent a lot of our mornings and evenings on the deck relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. Coopers Hawks, deer, enormous squirrels and chipmunks came to visit each day. Having a cozy, well appointed, delightfully decorated home base was just what we needed after our daily adventures in Acadia National Park. On our last morning we decided we would come back again!!! Fantastic!!“

„Aaron and Karen have clearly spent so much time curating the perfect experience for their guests. The location and vibe felt like camping but nothing else about our stay felt like we were “roughing it.” Our yurt was more spacious than any hotel room, linens and facilities were clean, fresh, and comfortable. „Cozy and immaculate little property with all the things you can ask for in a Maine getaway. The setting was like a tranquil campground. The bedding was really nice loved the down pillows and the shower and kitchen facilities excellent. “

"Sehr nettes freundliches Ambiente, In der Lobby stehen jederzeit Kaffee, Tee, Säfte und Snacks zur Verfügung sowie frischer Kuchen. Auch die Mitarbeiterin sehr freundlich, gut gelaunt. Trotz der nahen Straße war es nicht zu laut im Zimmer, gut war, dass sich die Fenster zum Lüften öffnen ließen und nicht nur abhängig ist von Klimaanlagen. Parkplatz im Hof war super, alles im Ort fußläufig erreichbar. Resumee: sehr zu empfehlen!"

"Brandnew Hotel in Bar Harbor with all most modern amenities and thoroughly styled. We were staying for 3 nights with 2 standard king rooms booked on ground floor and got an upgrade to 3rd floor for a huge corner room for the parents and an adjacent big room for our kids. The breakfasts were awesome, not the usual hustle and bustle of a buffet, but a choice of either hearty or sweet breakfasts were served on porcelain at our table with cutlery and cloth serviettes, along with a choice of orange juice and coffees or teas and fruits. Also the afternoon tea and cookie hour was a very nice asset. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay between the year end's holidays."

"Die Zimmer sind veraltet und extrem ringhörig. Das Bett war extrem umbequem. Es gibt in der nähe kein Frühstücksangebot. Das Restaurant vom Hotel hat zwar ab 8 Uhr geöffnet es wird aber auch beim Frühstück die gleiche Karte wie beim Abendessen angeboten. Das Abendessen war gut jedoch schliesst das Restaurant bereits um 20 Uhr."
