„My husband has always wanted a vacation where there were no schedules to keep. And that is what we got. We had a very relaxing, uneventful stay. My husband fished everyday, pretty much all day in the stocked creek literally in the back yard. I did some crafting and lots of reading. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. The king bed is very comfortable. Check-in/Check-out was simple. WiFi was a little choppy and there is NO cell service. The area is very remote which makes for a very peaceful stay. ...

„We spent nearly two weeks at this incredible cabin with a spectacular mountain view. Everything that you need is available in this cabin including K-cups for the Keurig coffee maker! Paula and Brian were very helpful and accommodating in resolving a problem we experienced with the gate to access this gated community. We enjoyed the peace, privacy and solitude and recommend staying here if you want to get away from the noise and commotion of everyday living. “

„The pictures of this home do it no justice! Better than we expected! Views were stunning! Well stocked kitchen! Great layout! Well kept property! We only had 2 cars in the driveway, but plenty of room for more - if necessary! We will definitely return next year for our yearly outing to Wilksboro. „My dad and I stayed here for a couple of nights and had a great time. The cabin is unique and rustic (how I think a mountain cabin should be), but also clean and well-stocked and well-maintained. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. It’s so quiet and we especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch. Easy drive into Boone and close to plenty of hiking trails. I’d recommend trying to arrive before the sun sets on your first night. “

„My wife and I celebrated our anniversary weekend here, and the cabin was everything we hoped for. Very secluded and private, with all the amenities needed on site. We took full advantage of the gun range, the hot tub, and the nature surrounding the cabin. The owners are extremely hospitable and very accommodating. We hope to come back someday.“
