Les Sarments de l'Aussou

Gîte located in a small hamlet in the commune of Montséret, between the Medieval City of Carcassonne (40 km) and Narbonne (St Just Cathedral, Museum of Romanity, 25 km). Close to the village of Lagrasse and Fontfroide Abbey, the starting point for visits to the castles of Cathar Country. The sea is 30 km away, and the Sigean African Reserve is 25 minutes away. Nearby, you can taste the wines of the Corbières Cru. From the gîte, numerous trails run through the Fontfroide massif to the ponds (on foot or by bike), allowing you to discover the garrigue and superb views. In the hamlet, about 500 meters away, you can visit the Clauses honey house. The air-conditioned gîte is located on a 2,200 m² plot, fully enclosed and private, where everyone can find their own space: a shaded area under the trees, full sun by the pool, or relaxing on the large terrace with a pergola. Garden furniture and a plancha grill are available. The private swimming pool (6 x 3.50 m, 1.40 m deep, unheated). Entirely on one level, the cottage is arranged around a patio and includes: _ A large living room with a fully equipped kitchen, opening onto the terrace, _ A bedroom with a queen-size bed and a walk-in closet, _ A bedroom with two single beds, _ A bathroom with a toilet and walk-in shower, _ A separate toilet, _ A pantry with a freezer. Vehicle parking is available on the property and a covered porch can be used for parking.
