„Great spot to fish and access the state and national parks. The sun room looking over the river is a wonderful spot to play cards or enjoy a meal. We spent so much time in that room as it was just a beautiful view. Will continue to go there every year i can.“

„Stayed 3 nights. Two retired men who fish near Burney this time of the year. The Bungalow was very clean and has everything you may want or need. The site makes you feel very secure and the enclosed small boat & trailer parking in the back yard area worked out perfect by not having to bring all your fishing gear into the house each night. You can’t beat the location for access and nearness to food shopping. Great, well supplied kitchen. Highly recommended by us and hope to stay there again.“

„We only wish we could've stayed longer!! This is an amazing cabin in the woods. It is well-stocked, spacious, and comfortable. There are little added touches that really make it special hammocks in the back, a bottle of wine, coloring books for the kids, and maps of the area. I would highly recommend! Communication was easy and quick.“

„The house had cobweb's on light fixtures, vents were dirty, dead bugs in windowsills, air conditioning systems didn’t work well, some rooms were good while others had none, on the last night air conditioning had system error ( which I reported right away as for all issues and took pictures) foosball table was broken, table tennis paddle was broken, projector didn’t work, pool traps were dirty (we had to clean them out) we couldn’t really enjoy the pool because of the infestation of wasps. „Burrowdale is a gem -- a collection of stunning hobbit homes that are high end, plush, and thoughtfully detailed -- all nestled into a gorgeous countryside. We delighted in the sound of crickets, the smell of sweet grasses, the Milky Way overhead, and the generous breakfast. My tall husband was delighted by the large shower which was helpfully elf-lord sized. We have raved about this stay to everyone and only regret we didn't have more time to sink into the experience.
