When we arrived, our heat wasn’t working and our room was freezing which took 45 minutes to fix. In addition to this, we went down to the pool and it was a huge mess, the lockers didn’t work, they had no towels, people were walking in with their muddy boots, and there were screaming children throwing aquatic toys everywhere leaving no space to enjoy the pool as it was well over capacity. It was absolute chaos to say the least. We also couldn’t eat dinner in any of the restaurants because everything was booked and since the roads were terrible and unplowed we could basically only get room service. However, when we tried to call to order dinner, nobody would answer the phone until I texted them and waited for them to call back. Our furniture and tv was also very outdated considering we got one of their best rooms. The tv didn’t have any smart tv functionality and the furniture looked worn out. The facility was also not kept in proper shape, and when we went to the ground floor to check out the game room there was popcorn all over the floor. The only reason I gave this a 2 star instead of 1 is they compensated us for our missed opportunity to ski (excluding rentals). We have been to many resorts all across North America and this was by far the poorest experience for us.

Great spot for a getaway. Got the executive suite upgrade and the room was spacious with 2 bathrooms and 2 closets. The ensuite toilet was running the entire time which was distracting during the night but advised the front desk upon checkout. Ate at Cabin restaurant and it was excellent - high quality dining. Breakfast buffet was plentiful. Pool and hot tub area were great but seating around the pool was limited after a few guests arrived with families. I would return and recommend to others for a getaway.

We had a great weekend at the resort recently. The room was lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful and the Globe restaurant and wine tours in the area were wonderful, including the one at Adamo. We had a small issue with drainage in our shower and they attended to it right away. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner in some corners. The hallways in some areas had an off putting smell. But overall, a wonderful stay. Great breakfast buffet, enjoyable spa services. A great weekend getaway.

We stayed in a studio room on 1st floor overlooking the pond. Lovely room and view from small balcony. Had drinks/dinner in the bar instead of dining room. Nice and casual with friendly bar staff. This was such a welcoming place with excellent staff and we lucked out for an earlier check in, a quiet weekend and the ability to get wonderful spa treatments last minute. Disappointing Resort Experience
The resort is located in a lovely area with beautiful vistas and serene surroundings. We found the hotel itself lacked the details and service that would be expected at a high-end resort. The hotel staff was generally friendly but seemed stressed and overworked. Only one person was working the check-in counter when we arrived, so we waited in line for 20 minutes despite there being several people behind the desk who seemed to have a managerial roll but didn't offer to help the people who were waiting. We went to the bar area for drinks and appetizers but eventually left after 15 minutes because our server said she was too busy helping other customers and couldn't take our drink order (the bar was 1/4 full.) We were awakened several times in the night, starting at 2:00 a.m. by loud partygoers in the hallway and nearby rooms. And small details were missing from our room: a broken lamp, a malfunctioning thermostat, no soap for the shower. The pillows were comfortable, though. Overall, we expected a higher-level experience for $410 per night and were sadly disappointed. It's not a place I would go back to.

Resort fee insulting! Need towel racks in bathroom
The resort fee of $36 per night is ridiculous! The outdoor pool was closed, there was no skiing, the fitness centre is minuscule, and to play golf you had to pay fee so what resort amenities were worth the $36 unless you count an indoor pool which most hotels that don't charge a resort fee offer???? To top things off, when I asked to stay an extra night they wanted to charge me an "amenities fee" b/c the room I was staying in had the "amenity" of a hardwood floor! This nickel and dimiing is insulting - especially when the restaurant menu is very limited and there are no towel racks and only one small hook in the bathroom to hang you towels on if you want to be "eco friendly" and indicate that you don't want housekeeping to wash your towels everyday

The rooms are aged but comfortable. We were able to check in early for a wedding, but returning to our room after midnight was a disappointment due to a banquet taking place below our wing which kept loud music playing until after midnight. Then we had the pleasure of hearing a truck being loaded which woke me up again. Not at all what I expected for this resort. I will think twice before booking a stay at this hotel.

The room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the warm outside pool. The staff were extremely friendly and we enjoyed star gazing on a lovely clear evening.
