„Black rock lodge is the perfect hideaway and a real gem, the location is perfect - right in the jungle, you can hear the howler monkeys roar in the morning and next to the river where you can take an afternoon swim. You can also spot various birds on your own but also on a bird watching tour at sunrise. The activities and tour guides were great, definitely go for ATM and a night hike. Everyone was super lovely and welcoming, accomodation is basic but clean and you have everything that you need. ...

„Calico Jack's in a hidden gem in Belize! You really feel like you are in the jungle on their lush grounds. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and they clearly care about their guests. We loved the activities they offer, such as the zip lining only a 10 min walk from our room.
Be sure to stay for breakfast and order the Stuffed Fry Jacks, they were the best we had in Belize!

„I absolutely loved my stay at the Drift Inn in Cayo. Bike rental was cheap and convenient, though I wish they had bike locks. Air conditioning was so nice to have. Great atmosphere, live music and karaoke on weekends, staff were all very social and welcoming. Made me feel right at home. Their restaurant also had some of the best food I’ve had in all of Belize.
If you like Belizean culture, sometimes they have the Garifuna Collective play a concert, sadly I missed it!
